Encyclopedia of Mesenian Creatures Entry 2.
The Meseri-Metallipede, the most dangerous Mesenian creatures in the world, staying at a small child like size for all their life.
This species of Meseri is specifically adapted to survive in the hottest of enviroments, but is still capable of living even in the coldest ones, navigating all terrains with absolutely no issue, and being intimidating enough to scare away all kind of dangerous creatures away and easily the apex predators of the area they live in.
Traits shared by all Meseri-Metallipede are the following: Four metal legs coming out of their backs that have elephant like feet, four eyes and something that they regularly keep hidden, a scorpion tail the size of their whole body.
These guys are omnivores, but it's clear that they much prefer a feast of fruit rather than flesh or vegetables, they will hunt on a regular basis, but usually store what they catch thanks to the enzyme they inject through their stinger, which prevents the rotting of any kind of meat, meaning they can store food indefinetly, as long as they pump a fresh batch of enzyme in the meat when the previous loses it's effect.
The methods that Meseri-Metallipedes use for hunting are the most particular, while their giant legs allow for easy access to fruit up on trees, making gathering as simple as drinking water, they don'te use these legs when hunting, of course they do use them to move quickly, but for some reason they don't use the heavy trunks of metallic muscles to attack their prey, opting instead to use them to gallop after whatever their hunting to stab them with their stinger, which will inject the enzyme into the blood stream of the prey, causing their metabolism to stop, also causing all their bodily functions to stop, causing a fever dream induced death.
A thing to note about the legs, the base of their feet is sticky, allowing for amazing climbing capabilities, even leaping from surface to surface is no problem, but less skilled Metallipedes might lose their balance a lot easier.
Evolution Boost.
There's only one known form that Meseri-Metallipedes take with the utilization of Evolution Boost, their assault form, turning them into the creatures known as Metallipede-Crushers.
A Metallipede-Crusher form doesn't change that much compared to the regular ones, the only obvious change is in their feet, which change from an elephant's to three finger like claws for foot, removing the need for the sticky effect since they'll just stab into the surface, offering even better balance, and theirhunting method changes too, they will leap at their prey, clutching them in their claws before cutting them to pieces, this made people understand that regular ones don't crush the prey cause the meat will probably taste off if stomped to death.
