With its remaining eyes, it zeroed in on Li Mei and raised its horn, ready to skewer right through her.
Derek sprung into action and leaped into the air. He grabbed her and threw his dagger. The blade spun into the distance and he appeared.
He lay her against a wall and patted her head. "Leave the rest to me."
Along with those words, fading into the air, he made his way toward the beast, who had its remaining eye fixed on Li Mei.
He picked up her Katana which she dropped due to the shock and leaped into the air with great effort.
He spun mid-air and made a gash on the beast's body and Derek quickly pierced the entire length of his dagger inside the opening.
The rhino roared with its head facing the sky but he wasn't done. Stomping on the ground, he leaped into the air and made another wide horizontal slash.
The super sharp Katana left a deep gash on the rhino's back and it turned its blood-red eye towards him.
