026. Nala's Invitation

It's a lively night inside Nala's bar. Everything looks natural including Alice who is occasionally teased by the customers. 

It had been almost 2 hours since sunset and it seemed like it was the time. Nala called Alice to inform Zhen that she would be waiting for him in 30 minutes after finishing her bath. 

Although it was no longer a secret, Alice still felt awkward passing on the info. 

Nala walked into the back area and the whole bar whispered. 

"Have you ever seen Ma'am Nala serving a man?"

"Never at all."

"In the 5 years I've lived in this town, I've never seen that."

"There's no man brave enough to ask for it anyway."

"Of course there isn't, do you want to die?"

Inside the steam-filled bathroom, Nala took off her towel and hung it on the pole beside the door. Nothing else covered her smooth white skin and her hourglass-like body. 

Nala dipped her body into the hot tub and leaned back. She saw the chain-shaped burns wrapped around her body, even though they were already a bit transparent due to Zhen's healing magic, Nala could still see them, feel the hot sensation of the chain and the sin she carried when fighting Skar. 

Every time she saw the chain-shaped burns on her body, she remembered Skar's words at the end of his breath.

Nala bent her knees and hugged it tightly. 

"I'm sorry, Maya."

Alice stood in front of Zhen's bedroom door. She didn't know what to say and when was the right time to enter. 

The female knight was so immersed in her own overthinking that she didn't realize she had been standing for more than 10 minutes. 

"Alright, Alice, you can do this. It's nothing to be ashamed of and you can do it. It's just a message. Just a message," Alice told herself to mentally brace herself. 

When Alice grabbed the doorknob, her brain immediately created a simulated scenario.

[ Alice: Mr. Elf, Ma'am Nala is ready for sex in 30 minutes. 

Zhen: Thank you, I can't wait for sex. 

Alice: After that it's my turn for sex. 

Zhen: Yeay, 2 times in a row. ]

'NO WAY! Impossible! Impossible! Impossible!' Alice shouted in her mind.

Her face was flushed and her hand was shaking. She just stood there holding the doorknob and was paralyzed by her own thoughts. 

'NO! How can I do this?! How can I do this?!" the voice of panic filled Alice's head. 

Shouji's imaginary shadow suddenly appeared beside Alice and patted her shoulder.  Alice looked at the imaginary shadow which was also looking at Alice.

Alice strengthened her resolve and prepared for the worst. She opened the door with confidence. 

"Excuse me mister -"

Zhen was asleep on his back and looked very peaceful. 

Alice let out her breath instantly. 'What am I really worried about?' she thought. 

The waitress walked over to the bed and tried to wake the elf up. 

"Mister Zhen, Mister Zhen, wake up," Alice said in a whisper and touched the elf's shoulder a few times.

Zhen slowly opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Alice's cute face. 

"Is that you? My beautiful angel?" said Zhen which instantly made Alice blush and made her take a step back. 

Alice tried to avert her eyes in any direction, any direction was fine as long as she didn't stare at the elf's face. "W... Wha ... What... Do you mean, mister elf? I'm not as pretty...."

Alice glanced slightly at Zhen who was just silently looking at her with a wide smile. 

"You like my compliments, do you?"

*Slap! 

Alice spontaneously slapped the elf.

"Hahahaha!" Zhen laughed loudly even though his cheeks were red from the slap.

"I knew it, I hate you! Hate you!" Alice stomped her feet as she walked out.

She slammed the door so hard that it startled everyone in the building. 

Zhen was still chuckling and trying to wake up. 

The door suddenly opened once again to reveal a furious Alice. "And Ma'am Nala is waiting for you in 30 minutes!"

The door slammed once more and Zhen still chuckled.

On the ground floor where activities were going on as usual, everything suddenly came to a halt when Nala walked towards her room while wearing a bathroom robe.

Nala's room was directly opposite the kitchen, separated by a long hallway that leading to the back, where the bathroom, toilet, storeroom and stairs were located. 

Zhen came from the back area somewhat sleepy and still yawning. As he held the doorknob, he noticed that many people were watching him. 

The elf smiled and gave a thumbs up to the bar patrons who saw him. He entered Nala's room and everyone in the bar lost their minds. 

"Yo! Seriously?!"

"He really did it!"

"And Ma'am Nala invited him!"

"YOOOOO!!!"

"That elf is a living legend!"

While everyone was excited, Alice could only pout because for some reason, she felt annoyed.

It was noisy outside, but things were a bit quieter inside Nala's room. Zhen touched the wall and smiled faintly.

"That's what it looks like, soundproofing magic. Although it's not perfect and there's still the possibility of a loud voice coming out, it's already something extraordinary."

"Ara... Thank you for the compliment." Nala turned her back to Zhen and removed the bathroom robe, revealing Nala who wearing only panties and bandages that wrapped around her breasts.

Zhen smelled the air a few times. "You're wearing fragrance... Lavender?"

Nala spun around to face Zhen. "Ara... You are very knowledgeable, Mister Zhen. Yes, I'm wearing a lavender fragrance."

"Do you know the meaning of lavender, Nala?" asked Zhen, walking closer to Nala. "Purity, serenity, calmness, grace." 

The elf held Nala's chin with her index finger and thumb. "Not only smell like lavender, you are the lavender."

Nala's cheeks flushed with blush and could only smile. "What a flirt."

Outside Nala's room, many people were eavesdropping. The one in front pressed his ear against the wall and hoped to hear something. 

"Do you hear something?" said a bandit at the very back. 

"Shhhhh!!! Be quiet!" scolded the bandit at the front.

Zaltar sat at his table eating pumpkin pie and drinking beer quietly while Alice walked back and forth holding a broom.

"Why can't you be calm?" asked Zaltar while munching on his pie.

"They would do that even though they're not husband and wife," Alice said, raising her tone.

"So?"

Alice couldn't get the words out considering this place was a place of criminals where morals and rules had vanished. 

"AAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!" Alice scratched her head in annoyance. 

Meanwhile inside Nala's room, Zhen and Nala sat on the bed. Nala had her back to Zhen who was ready to do the examination. 

Zhen touched Nala's back and made her moaned softly.

"Are you okay? Any backlash from the abyss magic?" asked Zhen as he pulled his hand. 

Nala was breathing heavily and sweating slightly, her heart beating fast. "It's fine, Mister Zhen, please continue."

Zhen noticed the crimson diamond on Nala's back, when he wanted to touch it, purple static electricity suddenly appeared and zapped the elf's hand. 

"Ah~" Nala moaned but she immediately bit her lower lip to keep from making another sound.

"Sorry, please hold it," said Zhen who was watching intently. 

'It's a complicated formula and there's even some magic that prevents anyone from messing with the formula. They're really good,' Zhen thought as he frowned.

Zhen held Nala's shoulder with his left hand.

"Get ready, Nala."

"What do you mean to get ready?"

Zhen directly held the crimson diamond forcefully and a lot of purple lightning came out and struck around. 

"AHHNN~~"Nala moaned loudly because she couldn't contain the sensation that running through her spine.
