The Four Word Spell

Our training continues five days after we started.

My muscle is aching but I still pushing myself until I master a fighting move.

"Good! Keep it up May!"

Today, Lux made me train with a various basic fighting moves where anyone can be mastered in a short amount of time.

Lux's showed me one of his special attack. He calls it "Bend Blade", a sword fighting technique which makes opponent hallucinate that they have seen a bending sword causing the opponent to get confuse in a short moment before they figure the move out.

As my training goes under Lux's education, I easily learned his special attack within a day. The "Bend Blade" doesn't require magic, but, it requires fast movement.

For now, I used the "Swift" crimson stone enchantment to perfectly perform the attack easily. Lux told me that next time, I should do his special attack without using the enchantment.

Another thing, Lux has started to upgrade his Three Word Spell into Four Word Spell. He tried to sharpen the memory of how can a thing be so hot.

In a magical word "Heat" I have said before, Lux thought that he would able to do it because he saw a glimpse of its reaction when he added it on the spell.

From "Photonic-Flash-Strike" into "Photonic-Heat-Flash-Strike".

While Lux is trying to train by himself, Elm was just sleeping upon the tree branch. He told me that he was bored for some reason.

So for motivation, I said "Elm! Why don't you try upgrading you Three Word Spell into Four Word Spell?!" I exclaimed and suggested so he wouldn't be bored.

He responded "Huh? It would take me another three years to upgrade my Three Word Spell."

After he responded, Lux made Elm to go down the tree and said "You idiot, you're a fire mage, and you know how something can be hot. Your memory about it is so sharp since you always felt the hotness in your body every time you cast any fire related spells."

With Elm's magical powers, Lux is certain that Elm will be able to master a Four Word Spell in a short amount of time.

Since I am exhausted after training, I watched these two mages trying to achieve the Four Word Spell.

Right now, I was watching Elm performing an attack while Lux is giving him an instructions so Elm would be able to perform the Four Word Spell.

"Now, cast the first word." Lux is guiding Elm.

"Okay, here we go… FIRE-"

"Then, try to imagine or visualize something that is very hot, you can use your experience every time you cast a fire spell before."

Elm closes his eyes and try to remember and visualize about something very hot.

And when he did…

"HEAT-"

Elm successfully manage to visualize the heat. And because of that, the temperature of flame becomes hotter, and I can feel it in a distance.

"Whoa… Now! Do it!"

"PRESSURED-BLAST"

With the spell has been completed, casted, and released, the flame spread entirely in the surroundings before the attack hit an object.

When the attack was being casted, the flame was very bright, the temperature is very high, and Elm was their showing his face that he is amazed of what he's doing.

When the attack hit an object which is going to be hard rock, the rock shatters in a small pieces and some of the fragments were melting. I used the crimson stone enchantment "Barrier" so it would protect me from debris, while Lux jump very high above for a purpose of safety and see how big the explosion was.

The blast also creates a larger crater than the last one they made during their battle training with Lux.

After everything that happened…

"WHOA… WHOAAAA!!! I DID IT!!!" Elm has gone hyper after he casted a Four Word Spell.

"No way… It's so powerful." I was amazed after that.

"I knew you could do it Elm! You're amazing!"

"Hehe!" Elm was pleased being complimented.

Then all of the sudden, Elm had fainted.

Lux concluded that Four Word Spell requires a lot of mana to be released.

Now if I imagine I told them some of these words like IGNITE, MAGMA, LAVA, BURN and other fire related words, how would they use it?

"Let's leave him there for now." Lux made Elm to rest with the motivation in his face.

"You look motivated Lux." I said.

"Huh? Really… Well, I'm kind of jealous to be honest." Lux becomes honest.

He was jealous that his friend Elm is now capable of casting a Four Word Spell. This made me decide and struggle if I tell him some Light related words.

"May? What's with that face?"

"Actually, there's something I can tell you. I am not sure if this will work." I was trying to tell him a Light related word while acting that I may not be certain.

"What is it?" Lux was curious.

"Can you try this -SOLAR-"

"Solar? Wait the second…" Lux was saying this while I am thinking that I am being suspicious.

"What?!" Lux was moving his face closer to my face.

"Meaning?!" He asked what's the meaning of "SOLAR".

"Eh?" Then this is what happened after I become presumptuous. But actually Lux was very excited to know the meaning.

"Uhh… ummm it's..." Lux's face remained near to my face and I was having a hard time telling him.

"A light from the Sun!" I exclaimed.

Well, I wish I could tell him more about it but, I am scared that I might get blind.

"A light from the -SUN-?" He was curious again about the word "SUN" not knowing that I did said another unknown word.

"Huh? No… I mean… *Sigh* Guess I have no choice, I mean that one above the sky, your source of light."

"But that's impossible, I can't gather anything from that light."

"Huh?"

So he wasn't able to perform it without gathering magic? All I can think of to make it possible is to tell him the …"------" or "-------".

"You know, just forget it… I don't really know." I lied to him.

"Huh? Well, okay…"

"Can you train me again?" I asked Lux to train me with the sword.

"Oh… I see, let's do it. Now I am going to teach you another fighting move."

Well for now, we're back at training. Lux told me that we will go to the Demon Forest after another five days or until I become much stronger.

"May, can you hand over that Crimson stone?" Lux wanted me to give the crimson stone in a moment.

"Well, sure… But why?" I asked why.

"Well, just a gift for you?" He said a misunderstanding

"Eh? What?!" I was surprised.

"No… I mean, I am just going to add another enchantment. It could be useful when you need it."

Five more days then off we go!

Meanwhile…

The King Phaulius Dives, Elite Mages, and other mages and guards has successfully reached their destination.

After fighting so much monsters, several of them has severely injured. Some other mages had died in such unfortunate occurences.

They may have been able to kill all monsters, however, they have to find where is the stone hidden.

They used the search magic, but, because the power of the stone is powerful, the detection becomes useless since the surroundings is filled with magic.

Therefore, they have to use a shovel, pickaxe and other digging materials.

The King ordered that when they found the stone, they shouldn't touch it and hide it.

"We can use our magic to dig." Julius Mirahelios is suggesting to use magic to make it more efficient.

"When you does that, your magic will get absorbed by the stone before you even completely casted the spell." Fulmen Diaz is saying that it is not possible.

"Oh… You're right." Harold Argen tested and realized.

"Huh? Maybe the stone is over there!" Clair Alian thought that the stone maybe down there in that hole.

The King headed over there after the Elite Mages reported.
