In the future, humanity's fate lies in the hands of their alien overlords who invaded Earth a century ago. The invaders have instituted a brutal form of entertainment, The Survival Games, while controlling the masses that can't do anything against them. Each month, selected participants are dropped onto Zombie Island, a treacherous tropical landscape teeming with tens of thousands of zombies mutated by biological weapons from the invasion.
Zeke was a weary maintenance engineer accustomed to the filth and dangers of the city’s underbelly, finds himself chosen for the latest iteration of the Games. Haunted by a crushing debt inherited from his late relatives, Zeke sees the Games as both a death sentence and a potential lifeline.
