Snow Globe

Sophia could kick herself for letting her guard down in front of this filthy beast. She felt him fidget next to her, but with her back turned to him, she had no desire to see what he was doing. After what had happened the last time she opened her eyes, she wasn't eager to find out.

She still couldn't believe he had the audacity to jerk off right next to her. The nerve of him!

And yet, despite everything, she couldn't deny the flutter she felt in her stomach when he called her sexy.

God, what is wrong with her?

Now, to make matters worse, he was taking up the entire bed with his monstrous body!

"Could you move over to your side more? I'm barely hanging off the edge!" she snapped after she couldn't take it anymore.

"What? Go back to sleep," he mumbled.

"I can't! You're taking up the whole bed. You need to move over," she whined.

Ronan grunted, "You have plenty of room on your side," then, to Sophia's frustration, moved even closer to her.

He's trying to piss me off, she thought angrily. "No, I don't have enough room! You're too big for this bed, so just go back to your room, please." She sat up and pushed him, but it was like trying to move a mountain. His body felt solid, immovable, like a rock.

"Enough with your yammering. I'm trying to sleep. I have to wake up early for training," he barked, his eyes closed as he stubbornly refused to move.

Sophia groaned and pushed him again, determined not to give up. Her days were hard enough, and now she couldn't even get a good night's sleep? "Get up, get up now!"

Ronan suddenly jumped up, glaring at her with a fierce intensity. His face slowly reddened, and his nostrils flared. Sophia's heart pounded as she realized just how dangerous he looked in that moment as if he might actually throw her out the window. "Why are you bothering me? Are you trying to piss me off?" he demanded.

Sophia tried to keep her voice steady as she said, "I'm not trying anything. I just want you to go back to your room. Look, Matthew isn't coming back, okay? You don't need to be here."

Ronan growled in response, his voice low and menacing. "I can be anywhere I damn well please. This is my house."

Desperate, Sophia tried to negotiate. "Maybe I'll go sleep in Valentina's room. Would that make you feel better?"

This was ridiculous. She had never shared a bed with a man before, and the fact that her first experience was with Ronan, of all people, made it even worse.

"Just lie down and shut up," he snarled, his patience wearing thin.

"NO!" Sophia protested, refusing to back down.

Ronan narrowed his eyes, his gaze locking onto hers. His eyes shifted from green to a menacing red, and Sophia could see the anger simmering beneath the surface. She realized she might have pushed him too far. Oops, this is going to be a long night, she thought, her anxiety rising.

But suddenly, Ronan's eyes returned to their usual color, and his lips twisted into a smile. Somehow, the sight of his smile sent more shivers down Sophia's spine than his anger ever did. He brushed some hair off her cheek, then gently grazed her chin with his thumb. "You want to sleep somewhere else? Your wish is my command."

"Thank… you?" Sophia replied, her voice filled with uncertainty. She didn't trust him, and the shift in his demeanor only heightened her suspicion.

With a flick of his fingers, Ronan created another portal, his smile widening as he looked at her. "Go ahead, get in. I created you a separate room away from both me and Matthew."

Sophia glanced at the swirling portal, then back at Ronan. "Is it that cold cell you imprisoned me in? I'm not going back there," she said, shaking her head.

"Nope. It's a much better place. Go ahead, walk right in. You'll get all the privacy you need," Ronan assured her, his tone almost too cheerful.

"I don't trust you," Sophia whispered, her voice hoarse with fear.

Ronan's expression darkened slightly as he stepped out of the bed and towered over her. "Too bad I'm not giving you a choice now." He laughed and, before Sophia could react, he scooped her up off the bed.

"Hey!" she protested, struggling against his grip, but he held her tightly. Without hesitation, he carried her to the edge of the portal and paused.

"Goodnight, Sophia," Ronan said in a playful tone before throwing her into the portal.

Sophia screamed as her body spun wildly, the sensation making her head reel and her stomach lurch. It felt like she was falling into a bottomless pit. Am I going to die? she thought, panic flooding her senses. She had always known Ronan might try to kill her, but she hadn't expected it to happen like this.

Finally, she landed with a thud—though it was more like she was dropped like a sack of rice. The ground was soft, so it didn't hurt, but something cold touched her skin, making her gasp. She looked around, teeth chattering, and realized it was snowing.

Sophia found herself inside a giant dome-shaped room made entirely of glass, with snow gently falling all around her.

"Ronan, you bastard! What the hell is this?" Sophia yelled, her voice echoing in the strange enclosure.

She heard his laughter in response and instinctively looked up. The sound seemed to come from above, and when she spotted his face, she shrieked in terror. Ronan's enormous face loomed over her like a skyscraper.

"What the hell is this? Where am I? What is this place?" Sophia fired off a barrage of questions, barely able to contain her anger and fear.

Ronan chuckled, the sound reverberating through the glass walls. "You'll look great as a paperweight on my desk," he said mockingly.

Panic surged through her, and Sophia ran around the room like a frantic animal. She pressed her hands against the walls, searching for any sign of a door or window, but there was nothing—just smooth, impenetrable glass. This was no ordinary prison; it was something far more sinister.

"What… the… hell… is this place?" she screamed again, her voice trembling with frustration and fear. Her feet ached from the cold as she stood barefoot on the snow-covered ground, shivering. At least the snowfall had stopped, but the chill in the air was relentless.

"Oh, let me show you what kind of place this is," Ronan's voice boomed from above.

Sophia watched in horror as a giant hand appeared, Ronan's massive fingers curling around the glass structure that imprisoned her. His enormous face moved to the side as he peered through the glass at her, a twisted smile on his lips. "This will feel like an earthquake, so brace yourself."

"What the…" Sophia's words trailed off as she yelped and fell backward. The ground beneath her began to shake violently, causing her to lose her balance. "STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" she cried out, her voice nearly drowned out by the rumbling.

"I'm making it snow!" Ronan roared with laughter, and more snow began to fall from above, piling onto her head and shoulders.

As the snow continued to fall, a horrifying realization dawned on Sophia. She understood exactly where she was.

This monster had put her inside a damn snow globe!
