I make it to Darius, who is still airborne, and we both begin to descend.
Descend too fast, and what's worse, I'm the one who will impact the ground first.
As I fear the weight of the world that is about to crash into me, I feel a hand on my back.
A hand that sends a tingle through my every nerve.
In a heartbeat, I find the world spin on its axis, and then...
*THUD*
I find myself on the ground, and on top Darius, who is laid flat on his back, panting as well, but with a grin on his face.
I feel my hand on his chest, I feel my body on his, and I feel... tingly.
I shake the feeling off, and I pull on the flag, attempting to say 'I won.' but, then, I feel a drag on it.
When I investigate, I find Darius' grasping tightly onto the flag.
No, no I caught it first.
In a second, I feel a pull on my hair, pain wincing from the drag.
And then, I discover I'm face to face with Darius, only a nose away from him.
