Chapter 148: Poking A Lion
"I fail to understand exactly what you mean." Darius says as tension rises higher and higher by the second.
"It's just, these wolves are growing too bold, they have literally defied the command of Darius Crystalsteel, and what does he do? Nothing!"
Darius crawls and in a flash I find him in front of the wolf, towering over hinw ith anger welling continuously out of him.
I feel my heart becoming faint, especially when I think back on the blood, so much blood.
I said I wanted to be here, but now...I'm not so sure.
"What would you have me do? Kill my Alphas and Lunas at random?"
"Ah, that is not what I am saying Head Alpha." His emphasis on the Head Alpha in a sarcastic manner makes me want to bite his fingers off.
Bastard.
"But here's the thing, I know, that you know, who is responsible." He points a finger at Darius and anger begins to well inside of me too.
But I push past the anger and focus on what he had just said.
