chapter 24

Leo is pissed and without a word, he starts dragging her away to the woods but Angela refuses. She struggles to free herself and tries to run away but leo grabbed her like a teddy bear without weight and carried her over his shoulder. He had plans for her and would certainly teach her a lesson she will never forget in a hurry. Angela became scared. Why does Leo always have to show that he's an Alpha, with his annoying and egotistic attitude. He never for once treated her well as his mate. And couldn't even apologize for the way he has been bullying her when he realized she was his mate.

Angela started screaming and screaming for help, only the heavens knew what plans Leo had in mind for her as he carried her to the woods. Hitting Leo with her two hands she yelled again, " let me go you swine! Put me down at once."

" And you think I'd put you down? I told you I answer to no one!" Leo barked at Angela again. Their love for each was built on hate for themselves. Angela disliked Leo miller, but deep down she is happy that he's always giving her the attention and that was what a lot of other werewolf ladies craved for. She wasn't so curvy or too beautiful but it seems Leo always looked forward to seeing her even though, he pretended that he hated her, deep down Leo wishes Angela could forgive him and then they'd start over. But his stubbornness and ego took the greater part of him. He fell on deaf ears to Angela's plea and he didn't agree to let her go.

He had finally carried her to the deeper part of the woods and then he made his way into a cave in the woods. " I believe you can make your way back home from here." Leo spoke to Angela after dropping her down and smirking. He had gotten to the place he wants to stop and then he pushed her away trying to run away." I regret having you as my mate." Angela blurted out, still trying to adjust her self after Leo threw her to the ground. Hearing those words from her mouth, Leo felt sad and angry at the same time . He truly didn't know why he was always maltreating his mate in a harsh manner, when he should be protecting her and treating her with love. He truly cared about Angela right from high school, but felt he would let his guard down and she might take him for granted, which was the major reason why he choose to hide his feelings away from her.

Leo remembers how he had vowed to himself before he found his mate, that he was going to take good care of whoever was his mate and protect her from harm. But when he got to know that Angela was his mate, he was so shocked and guilty conscience filled his heart. He wanted to apologize immediately but seeing the way Angela rejected him made him sad and angry at the same time. Leo snapped back to reality, giving Angela a cold stare. " You will regret what you just said." Leo barked at Angela. He moved towards her thinking of how to teach her a lesson " leave me alone Leo! I'm warning you." Angela voiced out scared of what Leo might do to her as he made his way towards her. "Are you scared bunny?" Leo spoke smirking. " I'm not scared of you!" Angela lied.

Leo thought of how to get back at Angela, admiring her beautiful face and body. " You have something I need." He clearly spoke to her, stooping down to where Angela was seated on the ground. " And what do I possibly have that you want? You left me here to die right? Then leave me alone!" Angela rudely replied.

" You are fiesty and I love it. I want to know how you will taste too." Leo smirked after speaking to her.

Angela soon realized what Leo meant by he wanted to know what she tasted like. Her eyes were now widened like she had seen something shocking. " Don't even try it, I will never have sex with you!" She retorted in anger. " And who said I need your permission to take what is mine? I'm the Alpha and can do whatever I want to do with you." Leo barked angrily at Angela.

" Why is she so stubborn? It was his fault though." He thought. If he hadn't bullied her in high school years back before transferring out of the school or made an attempt to apologize when he finally transferred back, she wouldn't have been this harsh on him.

Without thinking twice he climbs her and tries to strip off her dress. He forcefully places a kiss on her lip. " Leo stop this, I'm begging you." She begged him almost in tears. Leo paid deaf ears to her pleas. "This is rape and it's illegal." She begged further.

Leo knew what he was trying to do is not right but climbing her body brought a lot of ideas into his head. After all she was his destined mate. Whether she likes it or not. " This is my body and I can so do as I wish with your body." He blurted out.

The both of them struggled on the ground as Leo made every effort to tear Angela's clothe and have his way. but Angela reaches for a small stick nearby and hit him on the head. He falls back to the cold ground and Angela quickly got up running as fast as her legs can carry her. She quickly transformed to a werewolf, to run away because that would give her more speed than running in her human form.

She finally reaches home. Pushing the door aggressively, so it could open up wide. And immediately she closes it in a flash, transforming back to her human body, panting heavily and then she locks the door. She hurries quickly to her room so her mum wouldn't come out to find her so disturbed.

Angela falls flat on her bed, thanking her creator that saved her from being raped. She was even so shocked that she was able to overpower Leo. Leo of all people, who is a strong Alpha werewolf. She thanks the heavens one more time.

Few minutes later, Angela goes into her bathroom to shower. Leo's stench was on her clothes and body, and she hated it. Scrubbing so hard, Angela yells to the air. " I hate you Leo! Why did you choose to make my life unbearable?" She yells. But the shower made it inaudible for anyone around to hear. Besides she was speaking to herself in her bathroom.

"I wish I could just… I wish I could just kill you." Angela spat out those words and instantly regretted it . She hated the way Leo miller treated her, like trash. But at the same time she still cared about him. " What kind of toxic relationship is this?" She thought. She remembers that she is supposed to go to school the next day but is disturbed because of what Leo tried to do to her and how she had smashed his head with a stick.

Angela finally came out of the bathroom, drying her body with a towel. She finally puts on her pyjamas to sleep, Because it was already night. She laid on her bed to sleep but couldn't sleep a wink. The thought of what had happened in the bush between she and Leo miller continued to disturb her. She tossed and turned on her bed, trying to get a goodnight sleep but still couldn't .

And so, she reached out for her phone to call Debbie. " Please Debbie be awake." She sadly uttered. She dialed Debbie's number and it rang. Angela waited for the call to ring multiple times before ending it herself. Just as she was about to place her phone back under her pillow, her phone began to ring . She quickly picked the call, realizing that it was Debbie who was calling her back. " I thought you were sleeping, Debbie." Angela happily uttered. " I was about sleeping before you flashed me. Is anything the problem?Hope Leo isn't still giving you problems?" Debbie spoke with sleep in her eyes. She yawned almost immediately she finish her sentence.

"Debbie, I'm so sorry for disturbing your sleep. I couldn't sleep after what Leo tried to do and I needed someone to talk to." She softly spoke to Debbie through the phone. " It's fine, you are my best friend and I will be there for you when you need me." Debbie replied back to Angela.

"Thank you!" Angela responded. " No problem. So tell me what did that swine do this time?" Debbie asked. " You won't believe this, so I was on my own when he showed up from nowhere." Angela replied back to Debbie's questions. " Don't mind Leo , he's always stalking you." Debbie spoke, cutting Angela's speech.

" I'm just tired of him. He doesn't know how to treat his mate well." Angela continued with her phone conversation with Debbie.

" He wants me to be submissive to his demands, meanwhile he acts arrogant and proud towards me. All because he's an Alpha werewolf." Angela spoke almost in tears.

Angela paused a second to know if Debbie was still listening to her through the other side of the phone." Hello! Angela, are you there ? Why did you stop talking?" Debbie questions her best friend. Debbie already knew something was wrong when Angela called her. " It's Leo miller. Debbie he tried to…." Angela spoke almost in tears. " He tried to what? Angela please speak up! What did that bastard do to you?" Debbie became more worried. Her voice tone became inquisitive. " Leo tried to rape me Debbie. He almost forced himself on me, if not that I struggled with him and overpowered him." Angela replied. Debbie was shocked, " You overpowered him?" She asked Angela to be clear that she had heard well. Leo is a strong Alpha werewolf and certainly would not be overpowered by her best friend.

Even though She was mad at the fact that Leo tried to rape Angela, the last sentence that came out from Angela's mouth was funny. She was confused as to how Angela overpowered Leo. " I got hold of a stick that laid beside me to hit him on his head, when he tried to force himself on me." Angela replied back to Debbie's question. She knew her friend too well and what she was probably thinking and so she decided to clear the air.

" I'm so sorry Angela. I don't know why Leo is treating you this way. Both of you look so perfect together and because of what he tried to do to you, I now hate him! ( She paused for a sec). I suggest you report him to the school management tomorrow, so they can expel him from the school. " What?" Angela gasped. " Yes! Angela, I don't think Leo been in the school with you is healthy. Your high study performance in school has totally dropped all because of him." Debbie replied to Angela, justifying the reason for her suggestion. " What if he doesn't leave? You know his parents are the ones mostly financing our school. They will surely sweep his crime under the carpet." Angela sadly replied back to Debbie.

It was already getting very late, into the early hours of the morning. " I suggest you take my advice Angela, and make sure to tell the school management everything that happened between you two before he tried to rape you." Debbie spoke one more time. " I will think about it Debbie, thanks for your advice." Angela smiled now relieved as she had spoken to her true best friend.

" It's late bunny, I need to retire to bed now. You know Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us?" Debbie responded through the call again. " Yeah! Okay Debbie thanks for cheering me up, I really appreciate." Angela spoke breathing down. "Sure sweety! I'm here anytime, anyway." Debbie said.

She yawned again but this time even sounding more tired. Angela knew she had to end the call now or Debbie might start sleeping off.

" Bye!" Angela said to Debbie. She ended the call in a split second and placed her head on her pillow to sleep. She Opened her eyes, thinking of what Debbie has said. She later falls asleep in the early hours of the next morning.
