Lilian is captured

Giovanni helped Rosa up. They both looked at each other. The tension in the air was very thick.

"are you okay?" he asked her.

"yes, I am."

"Ok, I will be on my way." he told her and turned to leave.

"Gio." she called him back.

"Yes?" he turned back.

"Are you doing fine?" she asked him.

"I am." he answered.

"We don't talk these days anymore, are you okay? I miss you." she told him.

He looked at her and laughed, his laughter was bitter and had a tinge of mockery in it.

He walked closer to her and bent down to whisper in her ear.

"you don't get to fucking do that, you don't get to miss me or care about me. You ruined us and what we had for a man who would never see you as a mate."

"Gio." she said in a shaky voice, he glared at her and left.

Rosa's eyes were teary, she took a deep breath and took composure of herself.
