"What do you mean?" Qiao Anxin asked Lu Ming.

Lu Ming cleared his throat, He felt that he must have lost his mind for a few seconds for him to say that to Qiao Anxin. Anyway, it's not his business if she wants to get involved with her brother in law or not. And according to her, the both of them have never met each other before.

"Chen Yucheng doesn't seem like such a good person. He is still hanging on to you even after he got married to your sister. I really think that you should not have anything to do with him" Lu Ming "advised" Qiao Anxin.

Lu Ming wanted to tell her that he wasn't worried but she had already walked away from him.

Lu Ming watched as the woman walked away confidently. Qiao Anxin ...he felt that this woman was playing some kind of game with him.

The both of them meeting here and him finding her familiar....none of these things are a concidence.

"Mother, what are you talking about?! You.... how did you even come up with such a conclusion? Do you think that it's going to work?" Shen Mingxi looked at his mother with shock in his eyes.

He had come to see her the next day after his assistant Jing De told him about it. He thought that she had something serious to talk to him about. Like how they are going to deal with his father's illegitimate son who keeps jumping around and causing problems for him.

Her marriage with Shen Defan was just like any other marriage between rich families. It all just about benefits and what they can get from each other.

The real problem here is your father! He has no intentions of letting you take over the company, even when he knows that Shen Yu will probably ruin everything for him. He just wants to spite me, like the project you've been working on, he knows how hard you've been working on it, but he still let Shen Yu cut into it with those elementary ideas of his!" Shen Fanxing said. She could not hide the hate in her eyes.

For almost thirty years, she has been patient, bidding her time. Shen Defan must think that she's all bark and no bite and he can do whatever he wants!

She needs to show him that he can't walk all over her son!

He especially can't pass over here life's work to his illegitimate son!
