Weird consequences (multiple POV)

*** Millicent Bulstrode POV ***

Today was going to be another bad day, like every first Saturday of the month, Draco was coming with Vincent and Gregory. She didn't like Draco, he was always mocking her, saying she was fat and ugly. She didn't need him to be reminded of that, the mirror was enough.

Her mother told her she would become prettier when growing up, but when she compared her mother to Draco's, she had doubts.

And Draco didn't even call Vincent and Gregory by their first names, only calling them Crabbe and Goyle. It was not nice, but father told her it was OK for him to do that, because their family was indebted to the Malfoy's and will become his bodyguard in the future.

At least she would be able to play with Pansy and Daphne, they were nicer.

There was one new thing today though, a newspaper issue for HER. Boppy had given it to her when she finished her breakfast.

The words were hard, but she had learned to read with her mum, so she took her time to read it. The pictures were pretty too. But what she read shocked her, a tiara could make her prettier ! This was incredible. She would have to ask her father for one. Let's see what Draco would say after that.

The story was too long to read alone, since and it was called "Saturday's night story", she would ask her mother to read it to her tonight.

She wondered where was this newspaper coming from, it was much more interesting than the thing father was reading every morning. Hers had pictures and a section for GIRLS.

At the end, the editor (some boy called Aelius Lovegood) was saying the next three issues would be free, but after you needed to subscribe. Of course I will subscribe. If there is more way to become pretty I need to know. Better ask mother.

"Mother, I liked this newspaper, can we subscribe please ?" I asked

"The "daily prophet" ? You are a bit too young to read this, where did you find it ?" She responded

"No mother, not father's newspaper, I want the good one for kids !" I said showing her my issue of the kid's playground, even the name was nicer.

My mother looked surprised for a moment, and took it for a short read. At the end she looked strange when she mentioned the name of the nice kid that made the newspaper. "Lovegood ? I hope the son is not as weird as his father ?"

"We'll wait a bit for the other issues OK princess ?" She said, not saying yes yet. But it was OK, if the rest were as good, she won't have a choice.

"Mother, why don't you wear a tiara if they make you look better ?" I asked,

"I... It's more for little girls honey." She said, clearly she didn't want to admit she didn't know seeing how she was hesitating when answering. That's when I realised that Aelius Lovegood knew more about beauty tip than my mother. I really needed to look the other issues, and to make father buy me a tiara. I'll need to tell Pansy and Daphne too. After all, they were friends.

*** Luna Lovegood POV ***

Today Ginny, Padma and Parvati were coming to play with me and big brother ! It was going to be 'cool' like brother often say. I was going to spy on Padma and Parvati to find out their secret. What secret you ask ? I don't know, otherwise it wouldn't be a secret silly.

But nothing could stop reporter and photograph Luna Lovegood and her loyal sidekick Ginny Weasley. I also want to know if they are worthy of becoming my brother's 'harem'. I am not sure exactly what that is, but brother told me it was something 'cool' only the best wizard could have, and it needed pretty witches.

The surprise of the day came when Padma and Parvati came squealing like nifflers in a Gringotts vault saying congratulation to my brother. What was happening ? This was a mystery, and it was time to investigate.

It was not a very long investigation though, because when mum screamed "AELIUS XENOPHILIUS LOVEGOOD ! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ?!" after speaking a moment with Mr Patil big brother had to explain everything.

"YAY ! I'm a true reporter now mummy ! Look look, it's my princess drawing !" I was happily saying.

I was super happy now. Today was the best.

"Aelius, you're grounded !" she said to big brother. But why ?

"But whyyyy ? I did the same as daddy. I uncovered the truth and told it to the world ! The powerful shall not stop me in my quest to disseminate the truth !" he said. He was so awesome.

Padma and Parvati were clearly thinking the same with how they were looking at him. Mummy didn't look very much of the same opinion, but she was biased, she was the powerful after all. And daddy always said the powerful are corrupt (whatever that is).

But right now, there was something more important than di-sse-mi-na-ting (what a big word) the truth.

"Mummy, can I have a tiara please ?!" I asked

At that I heard both mummy and Mr Patil groan. I wonder why.

*** ??? POV ***

It was time to wake up. How I knew ? Years of being beaten up when I didn't wake up early enough to prepare breakfast.

So here I was, the sun barely rising up and preparing getting out of what was my room. The weird thing was that a newspaper was in here. And I'm sure as hell I did NOT have a newspaper yesterday night. Uncle did not like to give me things, even if just for borrowing.

" "Kid's playground" ? What a weird name for a newspaper. How did it even ended up near me ?"

Since I was a bit early I decided to read a bit. But it was a bunch of nonsense about collector cards from chocolate frog sweet. I'm pretty sure those don't exists, otherwise my cousin would have asked for them. And what the hell was quidditch ?

Then articles about dinosaurs and princess garment. The last was some kind of bedtime story ? Not sure what's a nundu but the picture looks like some kind of leopard.

The editor note was strange, but the first four issues being free was nice. But would they appear here too ? Is this some freaky thing ?

"BOY ! Where's the food ?!"

Oh well, I'll read this tonight. I guess it can't hurt.
