Glen can be seen sitting on the couch, with hands on his head and few tears can be seen in his eyes. Success of the experiment is 50-50 chances and he won't know if he'll succeed or not. Besides that he may lose his wife and reputation as a scientist. Glen stands up and makes his way to laboratory. His father hid a book, which gives him the information of all types of hybrids and everything. He hated himself for performing the experiment after knowing that Cassandra might not survive after giving birth to the hybrid. Hee feels guilty. He decided to apologize to Cassandra for doing that to her. He stands up and goes into the living room. Cassandra is missing. He rushes out of the house and checks if she's available in the laboratory. But no luck, he didn't find her there.

In the drawing room, pages of the book are flipped by the air. The wind stops at one particular page, it reads about the symptoms of the hybrid pregnancy. That was the page Glen didn't bother to read. The symptoms say excessive hunger, aggression than usual and profuse bleeding on the day of labour.

Glen goes around the whole house and finds no clue about Cassandra. Cassandra is in the kitchen eating. Glen could hear some sounds in the kitchen. Since their house was in a forest, they had the constant fear of animals attacking them at any time. Glen takes a hockey stick in his hand and holds on to it. He slowly steps into the kitchen. He drops the stick as soon as he sees Cassandra sitting on the floor and eating like a monster. He's scared for his life now. He never saw this side of Cassandra. She was never this aggressive. He slowly slips away from the kitchen. He tip-toes to the drawing room. He closes the door as soon as he gets into the room. He collapses near the door. He sits there at back of the door, trying to calm himself down from what he saw earlier. He closes his eyes and takes deep breaths. But the flashback flashes right in front of his eyes the moment he closes his eyes. "Come on Glen, it's only a matter of 75 days! You can do this" he says to himself. And cheers up. He goes to his laboratory tip toed and brings in a tranquilizer and holds it like a holy weapon. It's the only thing that's gonna save him from Cassandra. He calms himself down and takes deep breath and makes his way to the kitchen. There he spots blood everywhere. His eyes widen on seeing the sight before him. Cassandra's hands are filled with blood. He sees her eating literal raw meat and drinking unpasteurized milk. By the time he injected the tranquilizer in her body, she has eaten a lot of raw things. Tears flow down his cheeks for seeing his beloved wife in this horrible state. She has never ate meat or animal protein. She's a pure vegan and is against killing and eating animal's meat. She was very kind hearted and an emotional person.

Days passed by and Cassandra's behavior ended up getting worse day by day. She acted all fine in the morning and afternoon. The problem started from the evening. She became a monster. She behaved like some sprit possessed her body. She herself was surprised by the fact that she was behaving like that. She was always seen low and numb in the morning and became suddenly active and cruel at night. She knew that the baby she's carrying isn't a normal baby and she needed to give the baby the nutrients that it needed. She tries so hard to not to puke out the whole food she ate in the afternoons every day. It was quite a tough time for her. What Glen didn't know about was, she knew that she's going to die the moment she gives birth to the hybrid. She read the whole book that her Father in law gave her husband. She knew beforehand that she has to do this because the baby isn't a normal one and can't be aborted. Either way she's going to die, if she gives birth or if she aborts the zygote. Glen didn't take her consent for her to reject the offer. She was made to carry the baby forcefully. She couldn't control the pain and the feelings she had while she was carrying the baby. She was always hungry and everytime she informed Glen that she was feeling hungry, he would only give her meat and milk. She hated the fact that she's eating meat and to make it even more worse, she always craved for that meat. She totally hated it. She knew that her time was ticking too fast. It was already 70 days from the time she started to carry the baby. She knew she's gonna die very soon.

It was 73rd day of her pregnancy. She felt a strange feeling and a sting of pain in her belly. She couldn't move anywhere. She didn't want to eat. Cassandra realized that she's gonna give birth to a hybrid soon. It was a cloudy day. She couldn't see the sun much and it was neither warm. She was freezing from cold and the pain in her stomach was killing her from inside. In one word, it was like hell for her. It started to ache in her head and few tears started flowing from her eyes. She was feeling many things. She had pain in her stomach, she was happy that the hybrid was finally gonna come out from her stomach, she knew that she's going to die today. She had a mixed emotions at one time. Not knowing what to do, she started to cry loudly. That's when Glen alerted and made his way to Cassandra's room. It was time for her to give birth. As the book mentioned, blood started to come out from every hole of her body. First her nose started to bleed and then her mouth. She knew that this is her end and start to a new revolution in science. Her stomach started to itch and she couldn't control and started to scratch it. That's it, a finger, more like a claw poked out of her belly and then came out the fox with the face of a human. She cried her last tears at 10:58 pm at night on a full moon day. As the creature stood up and crawled onto the floor, Cassandra left this world. Glen out of fear, closed both of his eyes with his hands. He opened his eyes only to see the corpse of his wife. Her belly was spilt open and she was dead. The blood flow didn't stop whatever he did. He only had one chance, to burn her body. With tears in his eyes, he took her body to the backyard and poured the petrol onto her body and lit her up.

He checked upon the baby in the bedroom. It was a human baby, which surprised him. He studied the book his father gifted him. He read that, the hybrid will attain its full structure and power only when it reaches 18.

He was prepared for everything. He decided how to bring up the child.
