Marvelous Turbo

Jake, an average everyday person with a barely used degree had an encounter with our favorite truck. Poor guy got dragged into my multiverse. How I love my multiverse, some DC oriented ones, Marvel ones and others. I'm going to have so much fun with this one. A Noctice-verse story By the way The images aren't mine though I edited them a bit after downloading them. I don't own anything that isn't original i.e my oc characters and stuff like that I also uploaded it on Wattpad under the account name RegoNoctice (reuploaded since the one-click upload messed it up)

Chapter 25: School Life

It has been close to a week since the incident at Xavier's campus, enough time for rumors about the walking powerplant to spread among the students there. Considering we're all university students and should be more mature than our high school and younger counterparts or at least should act like it I barely got any kind of flak from my fellow meta students. What confused me however was the fact that Ororoe was part of our age group.

Later on, I found out that she had an older sister who was part of the initial team and was working at the original campus that housed all the rowdy teenagers and kids. That knowledge just reinforced the fact that this universe isn't as strait laced as I thought in the beginning. I wonder what other surprises I'll discover as time goes on.

Rooming with Peter wasn't so bad, we had our own rooms with an ensuite bathroom so no fighting over who goes first. We also nerded out a lot, I mean my focus was on energy and all that while his was chemistry and mechanics but between the two of us we had a lot of knowledge and ideas. We're supposedly going to have a third roommate I have no clue whom it would be but I hope they wouldn't ruin our dynamic.

I also introduced Alloy to Peter, I've known him most my life and he's a trustworthy guy. Besides Alloy needs some friends since he's probably due for a body anytime soon, I didn't show him the transformation though that's for when he shows me his Spiderman gear. I did have one thing to complain about though, Peter took the sock on the doorknob to a whole other level.

Now I can't even open his door without a disposable glove, I should get him a sign or something. The classes were pretty free range for us science students, not weird considering that those who made the cut are all monsters of their respective field as in if we put our minds to it a small group of us could build some shit that only the likes of Reed Richards would be capable of creating.

I mean within this week alone I've already created the beginnings of an energy cell similar to the arc reactor with a couple others such as Miles, Anya, the Stacies and Peter helped me perfect it. There was also this half Asian dude named Amadeus and a black guy with cornrows who had a T on almost all his stuff his name was Michael Holt, I think. Pete and Lyn worked on the chemicals needed to stabilize the cell while the rest of us worked on the physics and machinery with Anya checking for any effects on biology.

The next week our new roommate was in, it turned out that he was someone we knew. The reason he was late was because he had to help his grandma out with some stuff in order to enable her to be fine without him close by even though that old woman is as spry as can be.

He wore black glasses with slightly thin frame, had brown eyes and was a little bit above average in weight, he had Asian features and something else I couldn't identify of the bat, our third and final housemate was Ned Leeds and he looked exactly like a buffer version of his MCU counter part.

I'm glad we ended up with him instead of some complete stranger, one reason is cause he's smart. That means he got in through the science route, computer science another plus cause now we have our guy in the chair and someone with the potential to combine magic with computer code. School got a little more interesting with Ned around, this guy was a mood setter.

Like he knew exactly what to say and how to act in order to set the necessary mood. He might have a good shot at acing the psychology sector of the school with that natural talent. Either way Ned, who was once my friend when I went to a boarding school for a while and whom was Peter's roommate when he stayed at Midtown High's dorms is a pretty good guy.

Not to mention this guy's ability to plan parties. When ever we made a major breakthrough in our projects and he found out, well you get the idea. Ned Leeds is a gift to the world and is pretty close to becoming my new best friend for one more reason, the number of times I've seen the sock on Pete's door had dropped significantly, heck he even got him a sign when the month ended. I had a good laugh at that, it was red on one side and green on the other.

We even burnt all of Peters old socks and got him new ones, made an event out of it and invited our friends, called it an intervention. Peter, Lyn, MJ, Cindy, Michelle and Felicia didn't speak to me for weeks. In all honesty this year has been mostly peace full. I hope next year would be the same, I managed to get Anne-Marie to actually get out of her slump after my revelation and I think something's sparking between us.

She still hasn't let me touch her but baby steps, we'll get there. Scott seemed distracted, trying to get more control over his power and its intensity while ignoring those around him. Not good in my opinion but he's hardheaded ignoring everyone including Jean, I should talk to him when I get the time.

As for the rest of the group, Harry's relationship seemed to be going on well and he seems healthier than ever he did have to take a beating from Peter though. Miles seemed more interactive Anya and Gwen seemingly pulling him out of his music and work, while everyone else seemed to be getting better.

I'm surprised no one deigned to correct my Ted Kord mistake in the comments.
