Cultivating Qi isn't exactly a secret. Many supernatural forces in the world have some grasp of it. A prime example is the Hand—a Japanese organization with an advanced understanding of Qi that rivals even Tarot, though they lack the power of the dragon.
The Qi that Aspros and the others are practicing now was adapted and refined by Chronos based on his own experiences from six months ago. The goal is to awaken the microcosm.
"Soon..." Chronos said, looking out the window. He had reached the peak of the fifth sense. With the Qi filling his cells, the sixth sense was just around the corner. The gap between each level of the microcosm is significant.
The sixth sense marks the beginning of true supernatural abilities. In Saint Seiya, just awakening the sixth sense allows Takaki to teleport across the world.
This is partly because the Jamil family has inherent psychokinetic abilities, giving them a natural edge over those who follow a rougher path.
This highlights the massive difference between the sixth and fifth senses. No matter how strong the fifth sense makes someone, it's still within human limits.
Even the Saint Seiya with their incredible physical strength would look like amateurs compared to a Saint Seiya who has awakened the sixth sense and its microcosm.
"The sixth sense microcosm can smash atoms with ease," Chronos said. "It can move faster than the speed of sound and has the power to make the earth sink with a single punch. It's ridiculously strong."
He turned to Aspros. "Get your people to contact Dr. Banner."
He paused. "Also, see if there's a chance to get involved with the super soldier serum project at Osborn Enterprises."
Although the Hulk's power in his previous life came from a source beyond the ordinary, Chronos knew that, at this stage, neither Banner nor the Hulk was of particular interest to that entity.
Not every Hulk in the multiverse would attract attention from the one beneath all things aka The One Below All. Only the Hulk known as the God of Destruction might be on its radar.
Chronos wasn't concerned about being targeted. The Hulk's ability to grow stronger with anger was somewhat aligned with the principles of the microcosm. So, studying it could be useful.
As for the super soldier serum plan at Osborn Enterprises, even though it didn't fully succeed, it wasn't a complete failure.
The Green Goblin, after all, is a superhuman. Understanding these projects would help Chronos better gauge how well cells can absorb energy.
This will definitely help with awakening the sixth sense
Creating a new law from scratch is tough. If you go off course, it's hard to get back on track. In the Marvel universe, the sixth and seventh senses are the hardest to master.
But the eighth and ninth senses are easier because they're tied to the materialized laws of the Marvel world—specifically, the six Infinite Gems.
Once je hit the seventh sense, he can use the Infinite Gems to speed up understanding the eighth and ninth senses.
Suddenly Aspros spoke up, "Sir, Dr. Banner has been missing since the last military conflict. Finding him might be a challenge."
He paused before adding, "But we can reach out to Osborn Enterprises. From what I know, Norman Osborn is in a tight spot. The whole focus of Osborn Enterprises right now is on the super soldier serum.
They're banking on its success to secure a lot of military contracts. If it fails, Osborn Enterprises might change hands, and Norman Osborn could go bankrupt."
Chronos nodded. "Give it a shot."
"This is the advantage of being part of a big consortium," Chronos said. "In a country where capital rules, money gives you everything—even the power to sway presidential elections. That's the allure of wealth."
He then added, "By the way, keep an eye on an organization called the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division."
Chronos was referring to S.H.I.E.L.D. It's been ten years now, and plans for S.H.I.E.L.D. are starting to unfold.
If possible, Chronos intends to get involved. Not to curry favor with S.H.I.E.L.D., but to make contact with Thor.
His ultimate goal is to obtain a godhead from the Asgard domain—specifically, the godhead of Balder the Brave.
"It's odd," he continued, "Marvel's universe has many gods of darkness, like Dormammu, King of Chaos, and Knull.
But there are very few gods of light. Balder is the only well-known one, and he doesn't appear often. In many parallel universes, he's already dead.
The only other significant god is the goddess of death, Hela, who's sometimes referred to as the goddess of dawn."
Chronos concluded, "To reach a level like Chronos in Saint Seiya, I need to forge my own godhead. Marvel's gods might not be the strongest, but they have unique powers that could be useful."
