Chapter XIII: Dad or Billy?

I woke up from my deep slumber and found myself still on top of the head of Blaze. I stirred over and saw Agamotto sleeping on top of Blaze's large head too. It truly was remarkably comfortable, considering the top of his head was covered in scales.

I lightly jumped off of Blaze's head and landed on the cave floor, trying not to alert anyone of my awakening. I sped off from the cave and back to my second favorite place on Genosha, the plain.

While I was running I felt something incredibly different. Not only was it the fact that I was faster, but also that I had much better control over my perception as I run.

I also noticed that there was no longer a trail of lightning behind me as I ran. There was heavy amounts of blue lightning crackling all over my body now, but the lightning also had flickers of green every now and then. Every step I took felt like a lightning bolt struck the ground, but there was no destruction anywhere to be found.

I arrived at the plain faster than usual and immediately opened my Status to properly assess the changes and customize more things about my Status page.

There was no room for argument about whether or not this was a coincidence or not, if they were, then that means there were a bunch of damn coincidences happening around here.

I sat down on the grass and starting mediating, pulling on the dimension I felt inside my body, my soul.

Eventually, I felt my reality shift as I was now brought back to that familiar black realm with my supposed divinities bouncing around.

I sat down and began to call for them to come to me. As if on cue, they all came bouncing towards me, the lightning getting to me first.

I watched as once they all got to me, they started bouncing around me, as if they were eager to see me here in this realm with them.

Suddenly, my lightning and anti magic bounced away, going back into a cycle, as if whatever was about to happen, should stay between me, and my Hellfire.

My Hellfire began to manifest into something I never thought I'd see ever again.

In front of me was none other than Little Dino.

He kept making cute noises while rubbing the top of his burning head against my body. Although I didn't know the little guy at all, a tear threatened to leave my eyes from how beautiful this site was. Although I was extremely happy to see him, I was mainly confused.

'How was he here? Why is he my Hellfire?' I felt reminiscent of my past self by asking these questions that won't be answered.

I just enjoyed the moment before I felt something, or more like someone tugging at me from the real world.

"I'll be back little Dino, I'll talk to you later bud." I said before disappearing in thin air, leaving the Little Dino to go back to bouncing around with others.

I opened my eyes and saw a tired expression on Agamotto's face.

"Dad- I mean, Billy, are still sparring today?" He asked, too tired to care about his slip up.

"Actually, no, we're not sparring today. As a matter of fact, sit down. We need to talk." I said sternly, leaving no room for arguing.

His previously tired face disappeared with weariness, thinking back on anything wrong he might've done in the last week. He sat down and waited for me to say what needed to be said.

"Listen Agamotto, I understand that the last time you had a father figure, he ended up dying, and later on you found out his true purpose for raising you all these years. He just wanted to use you for your magic potential, and he was going to steal it from you, and use it to destroy the Universe."

I finished my first half of the talk, allowing him to absorb all of it, before continuing.

"I understand your hesitance to call me dad or father, because the last time you called someone that was your uncle, and he ended up dying, and planned to stab you in the back. So I'm going to give you this option, one time, and one time only.

Do you want to stay here on the island, give me your full trust, and help me save the world from Cthon and Mephisto?

Or do you want to go with the Magic Council and stop this threat by yourself? If you do this, you cannot come back here, ever."

With those two options, I stood up, opened a portal directly towards the Magic Council's Headquarters. Without looking back, I ran off towards the cave and meditated on top of Blaze's head.

I sat on Blaze's head for around an hour before I felt Agamotto's presence enter the cave. He opened a portal onto Blaze's head, and sat down and meditated with me.

"Have you made your choice yet?" I asked him without opening my eyes.

"Yes father." He said too, without opening his eyes.

A small smile crept onto my face.

"Then let's get to training!"

Agamotto's fists we're enveloped in a blue fire as he continued to stare me down. 'So he wants a fire fight? Then a fire fight he'll get.'

I enveloped my fist in the lowest heat I could make my Hellfire. Seeing the gesture, he rushed towards me and we engaged in a fist fight.

I guess you could say we were… FIRE FIGHTERS.

I ducked under a fist from him and swept his legs from underneath him. He jumped and flipped over my leg, throwing an overhead axe kick from above. I grabbed his leg and threw him into a tree.

He used that momentum and launched from the tree, straight towards my face, I side stepped his attack and slammed my hands down on his back, sending him to the floor.

He opened a portal underneath him and landed somewhere in a forest behind us. He was buying time so he could form a plan. I aimlessly walked into the forest looking for him.

I already knew where he was, but since I knew he couldn't win, I decided to entertain the battle a little longer, just to see what the kid had in him.

Suddenly, over 100 Agamotto's surrounded me in the forest, they all sent large fireballs towards me, completely enveloping my vision in flames.

'He did this because he knows that I'm not allowed to use my speed, because he hasn't said anything cocky the whole time we've been sparring. But little does he know, I don't need my speed.'

I used heliokinesis to redirect every single fireball towards each Agamotto in the forest. I knew that none of them would hit the real Agamotto, he was smarter than that.

Speaking of him, I felt his presence behind me, sneaking around. He climbed a tree above me and prepared to jump down on me.

'Well, this fight was fun.'

I opened a portal under me and silently appeared behind me on the tree. I crouched down behind him and stayed like that for five minutes before he turned around.

"Too late kid!" I pushed him off the tree and into the portal on the ground, I stood up and turned towards the portal on the tree.

Agamotto flew through the tree portal as I close lined him, making him fall off the tree again, slamming onto the ground.

Before he could get off the ground and start another assault, I pushed him back down with my foot and pointed my Vibranium sword at his neck.

"You put up a good fight, but I'm not your match son." I helped him up the floor and walked back to the cave to get a good nap.

"Yeah I know old man, I'll get you one day though." He said with a smirk.

"We'll see kid, but not anytime soon will you beat me." We continued to walk back in a comfortable silence.
