My Words Are Very Accurate

"Like I said, I'm a mage. You can't use your science to try and explain me." Fanny corrected him, annoyed.

Tony didn't reply. It wasn't like he did nothing in the meantime, but he couldn't find anything wrong about Fanny no matter where he looked. He even hacked into the hospital and checked Fanny's birth certificate. That the certificate exist at all was enough to prove that Fanny was a human from Earth. That left Tony with one possibility.

But for someone who studied science for many years like him, things like mages were far too absurd.

Tony thought he was ready to face the world and correct his past mistakes, but Fanny's appearance made him realize that this world was more dangerous than he thought.

Fanny looked at the current Mark II, which had the appearance of the original Mark III due to his advice, and asked, "So, you called just to let me know that you can fly?"

Tony didn't want to answer. He did have that thought, but he obviously can't admit that now. He was full of confidence since his armor test was successful and wanted to use the fact to rile Fanny up in the hope that Fanny would let something slip.

But he should've expected to be surprised when he was dealing with Fanny. This was a mess.

Oh silly me, of course magicians could fly too!

"Do you want to compete in speed?" Tony provoked Fanny to change the topic.

"Mages have portals; we don't need speed!" Fanny replied with a defiant tone, hiding his guilt. He silently affirmed his determination to practice flying. His first goal was to surpass Mark II.

But Tony's personality won't let him miss the tinge of guilt from Fanny's voice, even if he didn't understand the cause.

"Trickster brat, you don't get the real thrill of flying. You need speed to be exciting, understand?"

Tony pumped his repulsors with energy and left fanny behind with a whoosh. His figure disappeared into the night in the blink of an eye.

He returned a few seconds later with a trail of smoke. He said proudly, "This is speed!"

"That's it!?" Fanny was extremely jealous, but he had his pride to uphold. He replied flatly, "It's not that fast, barely faster than a fighter jet."

Fanny's words dampened Tony's excitement. He finally said, "Why don't we go down and have a chat?"

Fanny was about to say goodbye, but hesitantly agreed. He wanted to know if contact with him had changed Tony.

Both of them began descending. Competitive as Tony was, he left Fanny with his exhaust trail and rushed to the ground. Fanny was tempted to cheat with the Portal, but winning like that against Tony wouldn't be satisfying. In the end, Fanny flew down normally.

Tony waited for him in front of the mansion, his legs crossed. He held a glass of wine in his hand and opened his mask, fully embodying the 'big shot' image.

"I almost thought you lost your way. I was thinking if I should go back up and find you," Tony sarcastically mocked Fanny and then pointed to the wine cabinet nearby, "Take whatever you want to drink. I don't have the habit of pouring wine for others."

Fanny ignored him and walked to the refrigerated cabinet. He had started to adapt to Tony's character.

Fanny removed his 'Demon Armor Incursio' and looked into the wine cabinet. It was filled with top-class wine from famous brands—although he didn't recognize most of them.

He casually picked a bottle of wine with low alcohol content, walked with the bottle and glass at hand beside Tony, and sat down. He poured the wine and raised his glass, "Come, let's toast to that pile of shit you call armor!"

"Now that I think about it, you seem underage. Don't drink it; I'll get you some milk next time. Also, where did you put your armor?"

"…"

Fanny ignored him and took a sip. The mellow and spicy taste filled his mouth, making him slightly uncomfortable. He put down the cup and replied, "This is magic. You wouldn't understand. It would be hard to explain to someone with your level of idealism and spiritual strength."

"Lend me the armor for a few days. I guarantee I could explain everything to you." Tony relentlessly pursued, excitement brimming on his face.

"Eat my ass!"

Getting Fanny to lend out his 'Demon Armor Incursio' to be studied would be harder than making him study outside school.

"Girls don't like stingy boys like you, you know?" Tony unhappily drank the rest of his wine. He was still not used to the armor, so his movement was a little awkward.

"I'm the school idol, you know?!"

"I slept with the calendar cover girls for all twelve months last year, including a pair of twins! What about you?!"

It was Fanny's turn to unhappily take a sip from his wine glass. He was left speechless.

The so-called true happiness was often built on pain of others. Tony laughed happily at Fanny's depressed face and celebrated with a large swig of wine.

The two of them continued chatting like that; Tony shared his experience with his long list of girlfriends, and Fanny occasionally gave curt comments.

Fanny didn't seem to realize that Tony was very lonely right now. He had lost a friend that saved his life just a few months ago, and when he finally returned, his first decision was to make an enemy of everyone in his life.

After he finished his armor, he invited his best friend to look at it, who refused. He almost had no one he could trust other than Pepper Potts. And even then, Pepper Potts could not understand him, opting to let him do as he wished.

Yinsen's death made Tony think that he had a purpose to fulfill in this world. The armor gave him the first light towards that goal.

And then Fanny suddenly appeared in his life, just before he made the big decision.

Despite his mysterious background ability and apparent nefarious intent in the beginning, Fanny was a frank child with a sincere apology and goodwill beyond his camouflage.

Coupled with his relatively young age, his free and easygoing personality, and his inexplicable understanding of him, it was hard for Tony to just ignore him.

That's why he called the phone number when he was overjoyed by his armor's completion. He probably didn't even think about what to say; he just wanted someone to know about his success.

Tony didn't know if he had done the right thing, but as per his family tradition, it's fine to make mistakes that you can correct. He felt that, at worst, this was one of such mistakes.

"Can you introduce me to your...uh... Clown Troupe?!" Tony couldn't hold himself anymore. He looked at Fanny through his wine glass and asked him the question that had bothered him.

"We are an organization of secret magicians. Be careful when you speak; our boss is very powerful," Fanny chided Tony's lack of respect towards magicians, "My master, known as the Sorcerer Supreme, had mastered the secret technique of peering through time and predicting the future."

"Can you do that too?!" Tony obviously wouldn't believe something that so strongly deviated from scientific knowledge. He raised an eyebrow and asked, "Then tell me, what wine am I going to drink next?"

"I don't know yet, but my words are very accurate."

Fanny took a sip of wine, thinking about how to teach Tony a lesson.
