Cassie gave the order, "Blink if you can hear me," as she stared intently at Theo Smith, who was now awake.
As she looked at him earlier, she didn't know where she found the strength to approach him. Suddenly, she felt weak. His intense and cold gaze made her forget about the current situation. Her priority should be her patient, who is now awake.
If it weren't for the head of the guards rushing into the mansion in a panic, she might have continued staring into his eyes.
After a while, Theo followed her command and blinked once. She couldn't help but smile at his response.
He's responding!
"Now, move a finger on your right hand," she ordered, focusing on his fingers. Holding her breath, she waited for his response. And when he moved his index finger, she sighed in relief.
