Cassie laughed out loud when Blake dropped the call.
"You created a big mess, Cici. You're unbelievable!" Rona uttered as she watched her friend go crazy.
Cassie smiled and met Rona's gaze. "He deserved it."
Rona shook her head. "You knew that it wasn't easy to deal with Blake Moretti. Do you think that lying that you like him will make him drawn to you?"
Cassie sighed as she removed her white coat and hung it on the rack.
"It's the best way to convince—"
"Goodness, Cassie. I don't know what you're planning, but you have to be careful. You're messing with the devil."
"Don't worry. I can handle—" Cassie stopped when the door of her clinic opened with a loud bang.
The two were surprised to see Blake raging in anger in front of their eyes.
"Morgan. Let's talk," he said in a deep and dark voice.
Rona looked at Cassie with concern lingering in her eyes.
