Lola was perturbed because she couldn't place a finger on the drama that happened after Max had assured her that everything was working out perfectly and he was set to bring the president down.
But some men came into the house which she suspected were sent by the president and they had almost shot her brother while he was trying to protect her. Then all of sudden, they stood up and left not long after they saw the news declaring Max Donovan wanted for threatening the president.
The whole drama didn't make sense to her. She tried to reach Max and was even going to rush to the company by herself when Ethan came and told her to relax because everyone was safe. He didn't let her come with him and it ate her up.
Another news came in that evening. Max was being hospitalized for collapsing in the middle of the highway. Now she cried in the arms of her brother who was trying to console her.
