WHO'S GETTING MARRIED?

Arianna Reid: Yes. It's true that Jayden Bates and I are engaged.

WM: Does that mean you're already planning for the grand wedding? I'm sure it'll be extravagant.

Arianna Reid: Of course. We are going to invite the media to witness our very special day. We will make it a grand event.

WM: Can you reveal the date now, or is it too early? Is the date set already?

Arianna Reid: Before the end of this year. We will surely announce it after we finalize the preparations. We can't jinx it. (laughs)

Belle threw the magazine to the floor in exasperation. The nerve of that woman to flaunt their engagement to the world! And what's with that wedding before the end of the year? It's already November! Why haven't she heard of this before? Even Jayden wasn't telling her anything about it! Could she be only making it up? But that's not her sister's style at all... not unless...

Belle bit her thumbnail. Was Arianna really planning to marry Jayden?

"Belle, it's lunchtime. Do you want to eat together?" From the bathroom, Jayden went out half naked. They were currently at Belle's apartment and just finished some tiring business a while ago. Only a towel was wrapped around the man's lower body and he was walking towards Belle who was sitting on the couch when he suddenly stepped on a magazine on the floor. When he saw Arianna's photo with an article in it, his eyes narrowed and creases appeared on his forehead.

"Babe, is it true that you and Arianna are already preparing for your wedding?" Belle asked while she hugged the distracted Jayden. "Why haven't I heard of it before?"

Why? Who knows. Even he didn't know anything about all these. Arianna had beed avoiding him recently. And she made it clear last time that she would not marry him for real. This news is strange for him, too!

Jayden pushed Belle and turned away. He quickly wore his clothes and groomed himself well before heading to the door.

"Wait for me, Jayden. I'll just put on my clothes." Belle who was watching Jayden from the side finally realized that Jayden seemed to be in a hurry now. But she was still wearing just a sleeping robe!

"I'm heading out first. I need to get back to the office for a while. Just stay here for now." Jayden said, almost in one breath before he closed the door shut behind him. Inside the room, Belle was left stupified. Didn't he say they'll be eating together? Why is he leaving her all of a sudden?

It's true that Jayden headed to the office, but not his. He went to Arianna's company to see her. Inside her office, he found her buried in a large pile of work! He had never seen Arianna this stressed before.

"Hey." Arianna greeted Jayden lazily without even lifting her head and was still focused on the documents in front of her.

"I didn't know you're this busy. Now I feel guilty about coming here to disturb you." In Jayden's heart, he thought the woman was really avoiding him. Turns out, it's just him overthinking. She was just too busy lately, it seems.

"It's alright." Arianna said with a smile.

"I was out of the country for several days and work piled up. There's just so many things to do that I'm even losing time to sleep. What's up? Did you miss me?" She teased him with a captivating smile.

Jayden blushed a bit when he heard those words. It's been a while since she last teased him like that. It was like the old Arianna was back. Just like the times when she was still inlove with him! Could it be that...

"Yes. I missed you a lot." he finally answered after being stunned for a while. "Can't you join me for lunch today? Although work is important, you need to nourish your body, too."

Arianna put down the pen in her hand and thought for a while. She then lifted her head and nodded.

"Alright. Let's grab a quick lunch." sge said as she stood up from her chair.

"It's fancy meeting you here Vier. How long has it been since we last saw each other? Two? Three years?" A woman sitting across 'Vier' at the table asked him with a bright smile.

'Vier shook his head.

"I honestly can't remember. I've been very forgetful after waking up from the coma." he replied.

So unfortunate. He just have to meet one of Vier's old friend. He happened to have a lunch meeting here at the restaurant, and while he was about to leave, he bumped into this beautiful woman who just happened to be Vier's collage friend. She asked him to join her for a while and as a gentleman, he couldn't refuse.

"It's really a small world, huh? I'm here because I was visiting my mentor who just moved here last year. I'm going back tomorrow. My flight is in the morning." the woman kept making small talks with him, but Yago stayed silent and preferred to just listen to her. The more you talk, the more you are bound to make mistakes, they say.

After a while of blabbering, the woman stopped and stared at Yago intently.

"You're still the same, huh? You're still the ice king?" she commented with a laugh. "Aren't you going to say anything? It's so rare to meet you!"

'Vier' sighed.

"I'm engaged."

Just as he finished saying that very short sentence, 'Vier' saw a couple walk in. A waitress welcomed them and guided them towards an empty table not far away from 'Vier's'. As he was staring at them, he saw Arianna look his way. It was only a second, and she turned away quickly as if she didn't see him.

Arianna sat there, stiff. Why is that man everywhere? Seriously, if he wasn't there first, she would think he's stalking her!

"What would you like to eat?" Jayden asked as he passed her the menu.

Arianna ordered the food she liked and so did Jayden. They chat a little and then ate when the food came. From time to time, she would still glances at the table close to theirs, and catch a glimpse of what she thinks is Vier flirting with a pretty lady.

What a playboy!

He already has a fiancee but he still laughs and flirts with another woman!

"Arianna... you seem distracted. Is there any problem?" Jayden asked when he noticed Arianna dazed.

Arianna looked up and forced a smile.

"Nothing. My mind was just stuck to my work." she replied.

"Well... I have something to ask you... something about the WM article that recently featured you... " Jayden struggled with words. Somehow, he found it awkward to ask Arianna about it. But he was very curious.

"About the wedding? I was push in a corner during the interview." she started with a smile. "They kept asking about it and so I thought, well, just get along with it!"

"Get along?" Jayden asked with furrowed brows. "What about the wedding? It's almost December."

Arianna threw Jayden a seductive look. She then bit her lower lip.

"What? Don't you want to marry anymore? I'm okay with it!" she stated.

That sentence startled Jayden too much. It silenced him for a good two minutes! He tried thinking of something good to say but in the end, he still can't overcome the shock.

"Really? You're willing to marry me?" Jayden exclaimed after some time, finally being able to process everything that Arianna said.

"Who's getting married?"

From behind Jayden, a man asked as he was walking closer. Arianna looked up and saw Vier approaching.
