Master Vanquisher
Prince Nicien's question had Ericus shut his mouth again. This time, the Prince saw confusion in the eyes of the Duke's son.
"What do you mean, Your Highness?" Ericus Macheze finally asked.
"The Vanquishers want to reform our Esriven and turn it into a better place," Nicien Vamieres started. "I know that you aren't satisfied with me or the King. That means the one you want to support is the Crown Prince. Am I right?"
Ericus Macheze took a moment before he eventually nod. "That's right, Your Highness. Crown Prince Alerone is not like his father. Though he might not be aware of our work or might even disapprove of us, we plan to do everything in our power to make sure that His Highness rise to the throne. Right now, he is our only hope."
