Alexia's father sat in the living room as Alexia was going out

"Morning dad"

"Alexia"

"Yes, dad"

"The golden royal ball is going to hold today so go and get prepared"her father said as she wanted to go

"You should be done with your school syllabus"he asked

"Yes dad"she replied and left

*In Ana's house*

Alexia's POV

"Gush, Alexia I couldn't sleep yesterday's night"Ana said seriously

"Why?"l asked curious

"Because I can't wait...l can't wait to meet my soulmate,l wonder,how he will look"Ana said joyfully

"Can you hear yourself,you couldn't sleep because of a stupid matching,if l were you l would have slept to the fullest"l emphasized

"You don't get it, just choose who you wish your soulmate to be"

"Are you kidding"

"Seriously,the spirit might match you and Lewis together, cuz l know you guys are dating already"

"The spirit matches,and for Lewis and I..."l shake my head

"We aren't dating"l said taking my bag

"Just let me be,l'm battling with a lot of things,l can't even sleep,l keep on having nightmares"l managed to say as I bursted into tears

"It will,l feel your pain"she said patting me on my back

"You don't feel it at all,if you did,you would have slept last night"l said as l stood up and clean my eyes

*In Alexia room*

I entered my room to meet my maids waiting for me

"I didn't call you guys"l said, looking confused

"Your father, the king told us to prepare you"Natasha,my personal maid said

"Oh,ok"l replied as l remembered what we discussed in the morning

"My princess, we will like to first bath you"

"Nah, I can bath myself"

I took off my clothes, entered into the bathroom, took a refreshing bath and came out in my underwear. The maids applied cream to my body,and wore a blue gown for me, packing my hair in a bridal style, decorated with beads.

I walked down the stairs to meet my father, dressed in a golden suit, already waiting for me. The royal carriage was already outside,my father entered stretching his hands to me and I took it as l enter also.

We rode in the air.

"Alexia"

"Yes,dad"

"I remembered when your mom and I first met"my father said as he chuckled. It was actually the first time I see him smile

"I want you to always be by my side,l don't want to lose you"he said with a worried face

"I assure you father,you won't lose me"l replied as I hold his hands

On getting to the ball,we dropped from the carriage. I hold my father's as we enter the ball. Getting inside,l release his hands as he went to talk with the other kings while I stayed back and watch

As l sip my drink,l turn my head around and noticed a guy,he was handsome, standing directly towards me,he was staring at me.

'l don't think I'm that beautiful for a handsome guy to stare at' l blushed at my thought

But I suddenly felt something hit me in my heart,l felt my heart racing and I became nervous, taking my eyes away from him

'why am l feeling like this'l asked myself as l turn back again to see him still staring.

I'm getting scared,l couldn't go to my dad,it will look embarrassing. I decided to walk to another place, turned back and saw him following me.

'why is he following me,oh,does he want to kidnap me'l got terrified at my own thoughts

I rushed outside, entered into a carriage and rode into the sky

"Thank goodness I lost him"l said, giving a sign of relief as I heard the voice of another horse. I looked back and notice it was the same boy
