Dad please" she begged her dad but he turned away from her

"Your mom is right, next time be more serious." Her dad said coldly  making her slump down

Meanwhile, Xavier was at the door to the throne room, listening cautiously to their every statement

The maids came back with a steaming bowl of red hot coals. The queen picked up a coal with an iron

"Stretch her hands out" she ordered

"No need" Elaine replied seriously before raising her head and stretch her hands out for her mom

"I accept my punishment, since I made the mistake" Elaine said and her mom immediately dropped the hot coal on it

Elaine groaned and cried in pain as her blood kept dripping on the floor. "Enough" her dad said calmly and Elaine released the coal

"You've stained the floor, now I need it cleaned up, maids get the princess some salt water and a rag" the queen said and Elaine raised her head to meet her eyes

"Dina-" before the king could talk dina hugged him tight

"I know, don't you trust me" she said and he finally calmed down

The maids brought the bucket filled with salt water and a rag, but before she could dip her still bleeding hand in the water a hand grabbed hers and her parents face immediately turned pale

"Your highness, your here, we thought you-" the queen got cut off

"Is this how you treat my wife and your own step daughter" he said to them coldly and fear immediately gripped their hearts

'if a fight occured between Alvania and dystrya we won't be able to win, especially now that Elaine is on their side' the king thought

"Your highness she just hurt her hand by mistake and she was about to put it on ice water" the king covered things up

"Okay then" Alex said and walked over to the queen and sliced her hand then pushed it into the water. She cried out in pain and struggled to get her hand out

"Prince Alexander!" The king screamed at him and Alex finally let go and turned to look at the king

"What is it?you hurt my wife so I am just simply returning the favor" Alexander said simply with an icy Expression that silenced the king of dystrya

'this much power,I wonder what he is hiding' the king thought

Alexander turned to at his weeping wife with pure concern

"Are you alright, come on, I'll take you home" Alexander said to her calmly then lifted her up princess style. Elaine looked at him with blury eyes before collapsing in his embrace. Alexander was stunned for a second before listening to her steady heartbeats

He sighed in relief then carried her in a way that her head was resting in his chest. He looked at her bleeding hand that stained her beautiful dress. He suddenly felt anger and pain in his chest, he couldn't remember the last time his chest hurt this badly. He decided to clear his head of all  his thoughts and just get this wife his home and treated

Alexander looked at the girl in his arms and her still bleeding palms. He stared at the carriage for a while like he was calculating something when he heard Elaine hiss from the pain and he leaped.

He leapeg high and with the speed of light they were back in their room in Alvania.

He laid Elaine down on the bed then called three maids in to take care of her hand. He had planned to leave immediately but he couldn't bring himself to leave her now that she is in pain.

He watched the maids take care of her wound, though they did it carefully Alex couldn't help but flinch whenever she hissed or cried in pain. He tried to calm himself down and watched her turn in bed due to the pain.

"Enough!" He yelled and the maids flinched and stopped.

"Leave the medicines here and go" he ordered and the maids bowed before leaving quietly

He walked slowly towards Elaine and took care of her wounds carefully afraid she would break anytime, when he was done cleaning the blood he noticed scars where on her palms.

"How many times have they done this to you" he said sadly, her looked at Elaine and her beautiful face was squinted.

 "What have you done to me" he questioned no one in particular before sighing

"If this continues, you will find out the truth too soon" he said and bit his tongue hard that a stain of blood was on his lower lip. He slowly and carefully got down and kissed Elaine's lips and the half woken girl got jolted awake. She couldn't help but returned the sweet kiss that slowly got more wild igniting a fire in both of them

Alexander didn't know when his hand found its way to her waist and his body that was half on top of her was now on the bed bringing her closer and closer to his body. Elaine couldn't understand how her body felt but she clung unto Alexander neck feeling his body pressed against her's

It took all of Alexander's resolve to pull away so she could breathe and he could clear his head. The two laid on the bed and kept staring at the ceiling while trying to steady their breaths

'That was dangerous, but how could her lips taste so...' he thought and a realization hit him as he turned to avert his gaze from her.

'why don't I feel it' he thought and looked at his nails like he was expecting something to happen

"Prince Alexander!" He heard her yell his name and an irritated sigh escaped his lips

"How could you take advantage of me when I am in pain.... you are really a monster" she sat up and yelled making him finally turned around to face her

"I have every right to, I am your husband" he said simply and her words got stuck in her throat.

'dad has held his end of the deal so if I don't want him to go back on his words I'll have to be nice to this pervert prince"
