chapter 10(the accident)

Evelyn

I overlooked what was going on and went to take my food, I took my bath and went to bed.

.....the next day....

I woke up late that morning my face was quite red, I put on my cargo pants and my croc top, with my black Snickers, I took a face cap, a sunshade, and my criss cross bag.

I didn't find the key to my car so I took another one , I drove to the nail tech shop, and did my nails, so next I went to the hair salon to fix my hair, after 3 hrs of being out , I got a phone call from Stefan saying Collins met with an accident, I was dumbstruck, I couldn't even wait for him to finish, I paid the hairstylist and quickly drove to the hospital, on getting there I met, Joyce, Stefan and Judith, I asked them what had happened,Joyce smirked and Stefan told me the brakes of the car was tampered with."what!!" I said, I was already in tears.

My eyes met with Stefan's hand , I saw my car key and immediately asked him , why he was with my car key, he then said it was the car he had an accident with, meaning, that I was the one meant to be in an accident, Jesus what a traumatic moment it was for me.

The doctor came out and said he is out of danger, I was calm a little, until, I heard a but, then I shouted , "why the but?" He then said he is in a coma .omg!!! I was so sad, to hear he may not make it,

It was such a devastating news I couldn't bear it, I was literally crying so loud, Stefan was consoleing me.

....2 months later....

Evelyn

He inst still out of a coma, now that I'm pregnant, my baby is going to live without a father, meanwhile, Joyce and Stefan was living in the house with me ,

I didn't tell anyone about my pregnancy, I kept it a secret.

...later that day....

Stefan ran to my room, excited he said Collins is awake, I was so happy, and I couldn't hold my tears back I was literally crying, and I picked up a car key,we drove to the hospital, on getting there, I was so happy to see him awake, I ran to give him a hug, then he stopped me, I was shocked and suprised when he said "who are u please"what!!!.

I just stood there like a log of wood, Joyce ran to him overing over him and crying crocodile tears , he then stood up and came to me, he went on his kneels and he apologized, for hitting me, and he said he didn't loose his memory, I was happy and I was furious, then at that time, he asked me "why is your stomach bigger than usual?"

I was beaming with smile as I told him I was pregnant, he was so happy ,he stood up and hugged me tightly.

What the heck, I'm going to be a dad again after 16 yrs I felt overjoyed, I'm literally over the room, I'm damn so in love with my wife, I hugged her and told her, I loved her, she was so happy and filled with joy .

Later that day we got home safely, Evelyn prepared my favorite meal.
