Ania locked eyes with the man mid-air, her claws ready to strike. "You'll regret ever crossing my path!"
"I'm afraid, I'm just doing my job, miss" With a husky snarl, the man lunged at her too, his claws slashing through the air toward Ania's throat.
Luckily, she dodged it. "You're going to have to do better than that." In one swift motion, she countered, her claws aiming for his midsection.
He twisted away just in time, but not before she grazed his side. "You shouldn't have done that," he growled, his voice a low rumble.
Ania smirked. She was sure the man wouldn't be much of a problem for her. She did defeat her first standard alpha at the age of fourteen. But again, she doesn't really know who this man was or if he was holding back, so she still didn't let her guard down.
