Ania took a few seconds to process her father's question. She scoffed, clearly baffled. "What kind of question is that?." She asked, placing her hands on her hips. "We went through this yesterday, dad. I told you I don't know anything about this 'mate' of his!"
Mr. Mikhail crossed his arms and shook his head, refusing to believe a single word she said. "I know you're lying. There's no point in covering for Ivan, he will just put you in trouble." He sighed and approached her, extending his hand. "Just do the right thing and tell me who they are, my little angel."
Ania frowned, immediately backing away from him. "Don't touch me!" she yelled, making her father stop in his tracks. "I've told you a million times, I don't know anything about whatever the hell you're talking about."
His father frowned, getting annoyed but he was trying to control his temper. He knew better than to yell at Ania if what he wanted was information.
