CH400. Little Liu Liu 2

Before he could say anything, the child had sprinted towards him and hugged his leg. 

"Cute uncle, do you have any friends? I can be your friend if you need any," she had said and looked at him in anticipation.

Lu Min Chen had smiled. He was once again taken to his past when Ye Xiao Xiao requested for friendship from him.

And without knowing it, he carried her in his arms. She was cute, and he felt like being close to her.

He had looked at the old man, waiting to be told who the child was.

"She is my nephew's child. He passed on a week ago and the child has nowhere to go. I decided to take her," he had said with a front face.

And it made sense to Lu Min Chen. She was Ye Xiao Xiao's relative, no wonder she resembled her.

And after that, he had always put her in his thoughts. Whenever he was free, he would come and play with her.

And another reason why he likes coming here is because to him, he feels like he is close to Ye Xiao Xiao.

"Cute uncle! Cute uncle!" The little child calls while waving her hand in front of Lu Min Chen.

"Yes dear?" He comes back to his senses and smiles at her. "I will keep you company for only one hour, then I will leave, okay?"

"Okay!" The child replies happily. And she points at the bundle of toys at the corner.

Lu Min Chen carries her there, and he plays with her for a while.

But the more he is close to her, the more he is always thinking about Ye Xiao Xiao.

He wonders what life would be like if Ye Xiao Xiao was still present. They would have a child of their own.

And maybe the child would be like Little Liu Liu.

"Cute uncle?" The little girl calls him again.

Lu Min Chen looks at her. And she sighs. "You blanked out again!" 

"I am sorry," Lu Min Chen says and begins arranging his stacks.

But the child abandons her toys and walks towards him. She sits on his legs and looks at his face.

"Cute uncle, is something bothering you?" She asks.

Lu Min Chen smiles at her and shakes his head. "No, uncle misses someone," he says.

And he creases his brows immediately. What the hell did he say to a child? He has always kept his feelings hidden all these days. 

"Do you want to talk about him or her? No...it must he her. Uncle, is it the woman you love?" The child questions, as though this is a normal thing for a child her age to ask.

"Mmh?" Lu Min Chen opens his eyes wide in shock. "Forget it. It is nothing!"

"But I am your friend. You cannot share it with me? Grandpa says that he also misses someone. And it is someone he loves. You see, he does not hide it from me!"

Lu Min Chen sighs. That damned old man!
