When he arrived at the building where his friend lived, Li Lingyun parked his bicycle and locked it, then climbed up the stairs carrying a big bamboo basket on his back.
Ten minutes later, he knocked on the door and waited for a while. Not long after, the door was opened and Ling Yunjie appeared from behind the door.
"You're finally here. Come in," he said.
After entering the house, Li Lingyun said, "I have something to do at home, so I can't come see you. Have you got those things?"
"It's ready. I have been waiting for you to pick it up," Ling Yunjie said.
He looked at the big bamboo basket and asked, "Are you bringing me food again?"
Walking to the kitchen, Li Lingyun placed the bamboo basket on the dining table and said, "It's not for you, it's for your son."
"Whether it's for my son or me, it's the same. What did you bring today?" Ling Yunjie asked casually.
