Caleb flipped through the TV channels. He was bored and tired of being in the house. If he didn't have a bodyguard he would have driven to see Natalie.

"Yes sir, your house is secure," Issac informed him. "Your son is safe resting in his bed. I personally made sure. Issac said to the Governor. The last comment made the Governor take notice. He would deal with this officer later.

The Governor nodded. "Thank you. I'll have them set you up with a room tomorrow."

"Thank you, sir," Issac said locking the front door. The governor and his wife went to their bedrooms Leaving Issac alone.

He took a seat in the kitchen so that he could watch the house more efficiently. He also needed space to clear his head.

The next morning Caleb woke up expecting Issac to be sitting in his gaming chair but his room was empty. Had his stunt with Natalie scared Issac off?

Caleb went downstairs in his pajamas. Issac was in the living room looking out of the large picture window.

"Morning," Caleb greeted Issac.

"Hi." Issac said rather nonchalantly and uninterested.

"What are you doing?" Caleb asked as Issac continued to stare out the windows the light shining on his face.

"My job," Issac said dryly.

Caleb raised his eyebrow at how Issac was treating him.

"Ok," Caleb said leaving Issac alone. He went into the kitchen his parents were having breakfast. He sat down and his mom gave him a plate full of eggs, bacon, and toast.

"Did you sleep well?" She asked.

"Yes very well." He admitted.

"Good." His father said. "Glad to have you home."

"I'm glad to be here too," Caleb admitted.

"Um, I invited Natalie down. I hope it was ok."

Mrs. Johnson's eyes widened. "I guess it will have to be since you invited her without clearing it with me first."

"Mom," Caleb said. "I didn't think it would be an issue. I thought you liked her."

The governor smiled at his wife's reaction she was being an overprotective mom but Caleb needed to grow up.

"I'm not a fan" his mother smiled. " she seems nice... for someone else."

The Governor chuckled. " I think it's fine that she comes over... it's fine." He smiled. " remember we are going to the state fair so if she can come down in time for that it's a good photo opportunity.

Caleb nodded "ok" his dad always had an angle.

It was starting to really piss him off.
