CH 10: Huo Yuhao

<oy! Why won't you all comment?! By the way, fun fact I forgot to write before. I actually was planning on writing something else for the oath. Do you know what it is? It's from a very famous song! It is:

I was fucking dying to write that for the oath, but I changed my mind since mc would seem crazy if he burst into laughter whenever he heard it>

"Boom!" With a rather loud boom, a monkey with a dog's mouth fell to the ground of an ancient forest, unconscious.

The baboon was unfortunately stupid enough to pick a fight with not only 1, but three soul masters while it hadn't even reached the age of 100 years!

So it wasn't surprising that it was manhandled. But saying that it was a fight would be an overstatement, because it went unconscious with a single bitch slap.

The person who bitch slapped the consciousness out of it was a youth of about 11 or 12 years old, with jet black hair and blood red eyes.

Even though the youth was young, his charm was already beginning to show on his handsome face and muscular body.

Yup, he was our protagonist, Ali! About 6 years had passed since when he awakened his martial souls and bonded with Teresa and Gracia.

But today, he hadn't come to the Star Dou Great Forest to bond with another soul beast. Today, he had come to assist his relative in getting his girlfriend her third soul ring.

And who was his relative besides Mu En? Well, Mu En actually had a descendent, Bei Bei. And now, Ali had come with them to help them obtain a soul ring for Xiao Ya.

"Well didn't you take care of that quickly?" Beibei chuckled gently as Xiao Ya blinked :"yeah, you just slapped it and it was done."

Beibei was a young man of about 15 or 16 years old with a slender, tall, straight body and purple hair.

Although he wasn't old, he gave people a sort of scholarly feeling. His handsome face had a lazy yet warm smile on it as he talked to Ali.

However, Ali just shrugged with a bored sigh :"it was just a 10 year old soul beast, what else did you expect? Sigh, I haven't even used a single one of my soul rings since we came out..."

But Xiao Ya rolled her eyes :"oh please, what kind of a trouble would we be in if you needed to use your soul skills?"

Xiao Ya, Beibei's girlfriend, was a girl who looked to be around fifteen or sixteen, the same age as him with long black hair that was tied into a ponytail behind her.

She wore a set of light pink, form-fitting warrior's robes, which seemed to outline her budding and delicate body that was filled with youth.

She had phoenix-like eyes, which were both big and bright. She also had a raised nose, an almost perfect oval face, and a pretty and delicate face that was slightly happy

Beibei also nodded with a chuckle :"he's right, Ali. With how strong your soul rings are, we'd be in a really big problem if you needed to use your soul skills."

Ali shrugged with another bored sigh :"come on, man. It's not like I'm gonna go all out. It's just that I want to have a bit of fun.

Sigh, the only reason as to why I'm even bothering to stay in the outer regions of Star Dou Great Forest is because of being considerate of you two.

Otherwise, you can bet your asses that I was rushing deeper into the forest to fight stronger soul beasts!"

As they began to move again, Beibei helplessly shook his head :"you and your battle thirsty nature... You really need to calm down."

But Ali just snorted with a smirk as he raised an eyebrow :"is that how you're supposed to talk to your elders, Beibei?"

Xiao Ya directly burst into laughter as Beibei's face twitched helplessly before he sighed with slumped shoulders :"alright, geez, do you really have to bring that up?"

Ali snickered as he shrugged :"nope, but it is more fun when I do bring it up. And besides, it is the truth.

I'm Grandpa Mu En's son while you are his great great grandson! So you better respect your great granduncle."

Beibei sighed with a depressed mood :"yes, elder." Causing Xiao Ya to laugh even harder as Beibei smiled at her.

Xiao Ya calmed down as she wiped away the tear in her eye :"come on, Ali, you shouldn't tease Beibei like that."

But Ali snorted with a teasing raise of eyebrow :"teasing? I'm speaking the truth. In fact, you should respect me even more, since I will be your great granduncle in law in the future."

The cute girl blushed as she whipped her head to look away with a snort :"hmph, don't tease me, Ali! Snif sniff... What is that smell?!"

Hearing her, Ali who had senses far superior to a soul master of the same rank because of his heart martial soul strengthening his entire body, also sniffed with a curious look.

And once the smell reached his nose, he was a little surprised. The delicious smell was very heavy, causing Ali to sniff a little more :'is this... The grilled fish that Huo Yuhao will be famous for?'

As Ali and Beibei reached her, they saw a young boy of about the same age as Ali, but with a body far less fit and muscular than his.

The blue haired boy seemed surprised and startled by Xiao Ya's sudden scream and entrance.

Ali looked at the normal looking boy with interest and a small smile :'so this boy is Huo Yuhao, huh?

The protagonist of Douluo Dalu 2, and also the protagonist that was far more interesting and overall better than Tang San.'

Xiao Ya ran towards Huo Yuhao who seemed to be grilling a fish before she interrupted him with high spirits, a greedy and hungry look :"Little brother, are you selling this roasted fish? It smells so good! How did you make it?"

It seemed like the young blue haired boy hadn't seen a girl as beautiful as Xiao Ya before, so he replied with a light blush :"I-I'll treat you all to a meal."

Xiao Ya giggled in response. "Little brother, you've even become embarrassed. Then, I won't be polite."

As she talked, she stretched her hand out to take the roasted fish that Huo Yuhao had passed over.

She didn't seem to care about what she looked like as she ate the roasted fish without a care for how it got around her mouth :"how delicious!"

Ali and Beibei both waved at Huo Yuhao with smiles :"hello there." And Yuhao also nodded, although a little timidly :"hello..."

But Beibei's smile turned helpless when he saw Xiao Ya :"Xiao Ya, this little brother hasn't even eaten yet, yet you've already started eating."

However, when she heard him, her head immediately whipped towards him as she glared :"What did you just call me?! I'm going to get mad!"

And Beibei immediately raised his hands in surrender :"alright, alright, teacher Xiao Ya, that should be fine, right?"

Xiao Ya stared at him coldly with food around her mouth, "That's the way that it should be. You should pay attention to your status."

Ali from beside him snickered with his hands in his pockets :"huh, and she was trying to lecture me before. ever the glutton, eh, Xiao Ya? Ain't you worried about getting fat?"

Xiao Ya's body went stiff before she glared at Ali and then ignored him :"hmph!" Seeing that Ali and Beibei were still standing, Yuhao tried to pass the other two fishes to Beibei and Ali :"Big brother, brother, I'll give you one too."

But Beibei refused with a smile :"Gentlemen shouldn't take good things that belong to others. Little brother, you still haven't eaten."

Ali also nodded with a smile :"he's right, lil brother, I wouldn't call myself a gentleman, but I wouldn't feel right if I took your food while you still haven't eaten yet."

However, Yuhao shook his head :"It's not a problem, I can still roast more." While he spoke, he handed the roasted fish to both of them.

Ali chuckled as he nodded with a smile :"alright then, thanks, lil bro." Beibei also thanked :"thank you, little brother!"

Yuhao nodded with a small smile as he skillfully took two of the fish that he'd set aside, so that he could roast them on the wooden rack.

Honestly, Ali really liked Yuhao. He was his favorite protagonist in the Douluo Dalu series. He was kind, but was quite cunning in the future.

He wouldn't pick a fight, but wouldn't hold back when someone offended him. He also felt quite bad for his story, so he wanted to get along with him.

And so, he sat beside him with a smile :"it would be rude to take your food and not even introduce ourselves.

So, lil bro, what's your name? My name is Ali, I don't have a surname, but I call myself Ashborne. He is Beibei and that glutton over there is Tang Ya. It's nice to meet you."

"Hey!" Xiao Ya called as Yuhao introduced himself with a slightly down mood :"I... My last name is Huo. And my name is Yuhao."

Unlike Xiao Ya who was only focusing on eating, Ali and Beibei noticed the slight sadness that took over Yuhao.

'sigh, poor guy. He was probably reminded of his deceased mother.' Ali thought in his heart, feeling a little bad.

What he didn't know, was that inside the space of his lightborne soul rings, hid lightborne soul beasts woke up from the delicious smell of the grilled fish as they sniffed.

Even though the lightborne soul rings were like a separate space, the lightborne soul beasts could still observe the outside.

So once the delicious smell reached the sharp noses of those hunting lightborne soul beasts, they all woke up while sniffing.

Only when they growled to let Ali know that they were awake did he notice. But he wasn't happy as he knew their intentions :"fuck... Yuhao, don't be surprised, alright?"

Yuhao looked at him with confusion, but a second later, his confusion was turned to shock as Ali's lightborne soul rings emerged from his chest, his heart martial soul, and under him, his Necrofriggian martial soul!

Normally, the cultivation speed of a soul master with ultimate attributes shouldn't have been so fast, but Ali was special.

Why? Well, because of his martial soul literally being his heart, everytime he added a lightborne soul ring to it, his body would go through extreme changes in the next few days!

Such as losing the impurities, the body being a lot stronger than a normal soul master of the same rank, his meridians getting stronger, the passage way of his soul power getting bigger and stronger and etc!

That's why, even though his cultivation speed should've been really slow, his heart actually changed that!

Now, forget about about being slower than normal people in cultivation, Ali is even faster than geniuses!

After knowing this, Ali was extremely happy, because he had thought that his cultivation speed would be seriously slow with not just one, but two ultimate attributes.

However, when he found out that his cultivation speed at least doubles with every lightborne soul ring added to his heart, he was so happy that he messed with and teased Ma Xiaotao all day long!
