It had been ten years since my name had been changed to Cora Lorenzza. Lorenzza was the name of the Italian family that took me in. They helped my mother keep me safe by talking me out of Italy but in return all I got was heartache and tears. I never stopped crying they comforted me telling me it would be okay, but it would never be okay far from it.
