ch - 27 : Bloodstains !

(3rd person's pov)

"Who did it?''

Hanbyul then walked out of Minyoung's room with an exasperated expression. They all looked at her, worried and sick. They were curious about what happened to the younger or whether she's okay now with her previous panic attack, which they all witnessed.

"Sorry for that. I let her sleep so you don't have to worry anymore; you should go home for now. She gave them a small smile, saying what she thinks the four are worrying about.

Daehyun looked at Hanbyul when he noticed something odd on the older girl's shirt. Byul-Noona, is that... blood on your shirt? He asked, a little curious, as he saw some bloodstains on the older girl's right side of the shirt.

"Oh, maybe this is from when I touched Mr. Choi earlier. I should probably clean this; excuse me. With that said, she then heads to the bathroom.

"Are you thinking what I am thinking right now? Kwan narrowed his eyes, now looking at the back of Byul's walking figure suspiciously. They saw it too, and it was really bloody. They know that they shouldn't act like this since she clearly said that she got it when she touched Mr. Choi, but still....the auspiciousness is there .

"If you are thinking that she's the one who did it, then snap out of it. She was with me the whole time, catching fish with those paper nets. Eun cleared out for her.

How dare Kwan say that when she and he were out all night enjoying themselves at the festival. She never even left his side, and he was sure—or was he?

"I'm going to check on her; go check on Minyoung. Eun ordered, then soon followed Hanbyul.

Kwan was embarrassed that he even thought of that about her when all the older people did was show him that he's welcome in their club. Now he feels guilty.

Seojun looked around, but he suddenly realised something.

"Wait, where's Hana?"

Daehyun had walked out to get some food for them, but when he came back with the snacks, he saw familiar faces in front of the hospital lounge. It was one of his dad's men in suits.

He walked closer to check on the man to make sure that he was right. And when the man with a big suit saw him, he bowed his head with respect.

"What are you doing here? He inquired.

The man was thinking about whether he should say the real reason why he was in the hospital or just wait for his elder boss's orders. But later, he decided to say it, thinking that his boss should know.

"Mr. Jeon was admitted here a while ago, Boss. The man blurted it out without making any eye contact with Daehyun.

Daehyun widened his eyes. He asked the man where his father's room was, even though his mind was starting to panic. When the man did, he hurriedly ran until he saw the room that he was looking for. He didn't bother to knock or make any signal that he would go inside, but he just did. As soon as he saw his father lying on the hospital bed, he hugged him really tight.

Mr. Jeon was taken aback, but then he slightly chuckled, rubbing the back of his son, who began to cry in his chest. He may be a ruthless and heartless killer and Mafia boss, as everyone says, but he loves his dad too much to lose him.

Son, there's no need for you to cry; your father is fine. Daehyun ignored him as he wrapped his arms tightly around his father. He was just afraid that he would lose his dad too. He lost his mother once, so he can't let his dad leave him too. Not anymore.

"I'm sorry, sir... Daehyun mumbled as he stood straight back to arrange his clothes and wipe his tears.

"It's dad for today, you brat.''

Minyoung was awake now, and her hand with the needle was covered with a towel, so she wouldn't be able to see it. probably that was her sister's doing. Kwan and Seojun were the ones who were left to check on her at the moment. Once she woke up, they kept on asking her questions, not even letting her rest.

"Are you sure you're okay now, Minnie? Do you want me to get you water? Seojun asked with worry in his eyes.

Min was embarrassed that her crush had to see her in this state. She thinks that she looks pathetic in Seojun's eyes now, even fainting at mere sight of blood. It seems as if she is worrying more now about how uncool she looked than about the needle in her hand that made her panic earlier.

"No, I'm fine, Hyung." She said it with a faint blush.

"If only I knew about your fear of blood, I would've stayed with you the whole time not to let you have even a small peek at that! Kwan stated with a pout, making Minyoung giggle upon hearing this. Kwan and him might not have had a good start, but as the days passed and they were together, the more she thought that they had a lot of similarities.

"And that's the problem; you didn't know. And I wouldn't even tell you if you were to ask me; we're not even that close. Minyoung teased, making Kwan gasp; he was hurt.

"That's rude! We're best friends now; how dare you, Minnie Mouse?" She giggled yet another time because of Kwan. The door suddenly opened as the latecomer, Hana, went inside.

"Yah! Why are you just here now?

Kwan yelled at her, not even letting her walk inside completely.

But here Seojun eyed Hana from head to toe, keeping his suspicions to himself about that certain off-feeling he was getting from Hana suddenly.

"You're the ones who left me! I was talking to the police about what happened, and the moment I knew it, you were already gone! How dare you leave me there?" Hana hissed.

Kwan didn't know that she was being interviewed at that time, and being the driver, he decided to just drive off, thinking of Minyoung's safety first and forgetting how to count the heads in the car before he scooted off. It was his fault.

"I'm sorry... I thought we were complete earlier. He apologised, scratching the back of his neck and then giving a smile. Then the two began to bicker again about stupid things since Hana did not accept the latter's apology, thinking that Kwan did it on purpose. Although Seojun was still suspicious about this, he decided to shrug it off for now.

Min was in deep thought. She gripped the bedsheets under her blanket. She somehow knew who did it.

"Where is... Byul-noona? She said now that she couldn't see her sister's presence near her.

"She is with Eun, I think; she had something to do, but she'll come back. Seojun told. "Do you want me to go look for her for you? Minyoung just shook his head in denial and gave a small smile.

"No, it's not that important. I guess I just wanted to see her, thats all."

Though thinking about it earlier, she was sure that she saw Hanbyul running inside first, like she was so sure where she was going. Although it wasn't enough to prove that her older sister was guilty of killing their principal, Min was a little uneasy.

She knew that her sister had killed people and wasn't sure if the latter still does; it's not impossible that Byul was the one behind the killing that they just witnessed. She was just hoping that she's just being delusional and that her older sister wouldn't do such a thing again.

So Min, looking at the surroundings she was in, decided to disregard her thoughts to not make it too obvious that she knew about something. She doesn't want her noona to be in trouble if she is the one behind it.

Rose, did you hear that Mr.Choi has been murdered? '' one of Ace's trusted men, whose name was Fliex, asked her, as she is the secretary of Ace.

Hmm, I know that, and I also know who did it, '' she said, still looking at her computer.

''So do Ace know about it? '' Fliex asks, taking a seat on the sofa in their working office.

Of course she does; she knows everything. Rose replied with a smirk on her face, now looking directly at Fliex, who smirked back at her.

''But when is she coming back? ''.....''she said not to contact her as of now until and unless it's very important or urgent, but I guess she is going to come back soon. I hope ''...Rose said, but whispered the last line under her breath.

''Until she comes back, let's do the job that she gave us, Fliex said.

''Hmmm..thats what we are doing anyway, monitoring everyone's moves and intentions, '' Rose said, and soon they are again began to do their own work.
