It's a lie but it's true

Inside a cave that was on the outskirts of the Xyrus city. A man could be seen sitting on a chair while being surrounded by a group of people who were all wearing hooded cloaks.

'Good, good. Our little sect is increasing day by day. Only few days left for us to make the final move' Thought Draveen who was sitting on the chair while looking at the few hooded figures.

Most of them were power hunger people who joined his sect after promising them the power and authority they will get after the mission is over.

Suddenly, the ring on his left hand started vibrating and blinking with red light.

"EVERYONE GET OUT!!" Draveen roared inside the cave. The hooded figures didn't waste time. In just a minute, all of them left the cave.

With no one inside other than him. Draveen took off the ring and placed it on the chair he was sitting. He walked a few meters from the chair and kneeled down.

Using his right hand. He created a mana ball and sent it to the ring and at that moment. The ring projected a hologram of a figure wrapped in bandages.

"Lord Retainer Uto" Said Draveen as he bow down to his limit.

"What is your name, weakling?" Said Uto's hologram that was sitting on the chair while looking down on Draveen.

"It's Draveen My lord. Draveen from Blood Miya"

"I asked your name, not your blood name, You shit head…anyway I'm currently looking for someone name Madara. And from what I heard, it seems like he is inside the Academy. Since I don't want to dirt my hand and waste my time on those lower life forms. I need you to bring him to me"

"I understand, Lord Uto. But it would be a litt…"

"mm…yeah, I think he was in the DC with Kai, but I don't know much about him" Said Charles.

"Ooh, DC you say…when will they open up the gate?"

"From what I heard, they are going to open them tomorrow morning"

"Charles, I want you to go and report to the Academy director and told her that you saw who killed Marcos and Kai"

"But..but what if they don't believe me? What if they found Madara is not the killer? They won't believe anything I said"

"Well. You better make them believe. Do and say everything that will convince them. You can even say that he's hiding a body in his room, I don't care"

"Don't worry too much. After this, the academy would be no more. So do everything you can to make sure they believe you"

With that, the scroll disintegrate into dust.

Standing in front of the Direction Goodsky's office building was Charles. His whole appearance was messed up. His hair was a mess, dark bags could be seen under his eyes. His uniform looked improper.

His expression shows that he was worried and afraid. His heart was beating faster than a normal person.

Charles didn't bother knocking on the door. He just opened them and went straight inside.

"It's rude to walked inside without kno…" Director Goodsky had to stop what she was saying and looked at the person who just walked inside.

"Please…help me. He's gonna kill me…he's gonna kill me" Charles started crying while kneeling in front of director Goodsky.

"Calm down boy… why don't you come and sit down" Said Director Goodsky while looking at Charles. The boy's appearance was all messed up.

"N..no, you have to help me please…"

"If you keep crying like that, how am I going to help you? Calm down and tell me who's trying to kill you and why?"

Charles wiped some of his tears and tried to calm down a little.

With a few hiccups and heavy breaths. He managed to calm down, but the worry expression was still there.

"Now. Can you tell me everything?"

"Mm" Nodded Charles.

"What's your name?"

"M..my name is Charles Ravenpor. A third year student"

"Mm, care to tell me who's trying to kill you?"

'I hope this works, ' Thought Charles as she started his narrating his lies.

After minutes later. He was done tainting Madara's name with his lies .

"Are sure what you're saying is true?"

"I swear by my family name. I saw him killing Marcos, then Kai. He was going to kill me and that's why I'm here"

'This sounds like a lie, but at the same time a truth. The one who killed those two got to be a student or a Professor. But why Madara? And why does my heart want to believe that he's somehow involved in this? I know there are many things I don't know about him but this…this is too fishy'

"If what you're saying is true, then we must put you under lockdown for more questioning while we investigate him"

'Shit'

"Anything…just don't let him come to me" Said the worried appeared Charles.

"We will protect you, Mr. Ravenpor, but you'll have to give us your full support"

(Present day)- Night time (Xyrus city adventurer guild arena)

"Found you"

Madara looked at Kaspian's body that was impaled by the black spike right on his chest. Blood was dripping from his mouth and nose as he hanged there like meat inside the butcher shop.

Looking at the mysterious figure that emerged from the dark corner of the arena. Madara's memories kicked in.

'His appearance description remind me of Uto…he must be him'

"Well. You sure look mysterious. No wonder they want you alive," Said Uto while walking towards Madara.

"Who wants me alive?" Said Madara as he clacks his neck .

"You'll get to see who after I took you there," Said Uto.

Suddenly, Black spikes like the one that killed Kaspian shot towards Madara in all directions.

They were fast but not fast enough to hit Madara who disappeared from the view and reappeared meters away.

"Hahaha. This…this gonna be funny. Now dance for me!!" Shouted Uto, but his eyes shifted and looked up.

Even Madara looked up and saw what was above them.

"So, it was you who killed them" Said the new figure who was levitating on the sky while looking at Uto and Madara.
