Chapter 96

Jasmine's POV

"I'll be back in three days hopefully with good news"

I stare at my mate like a puzzle I can't solve. He makes a decision and does not tell me about it until the last minute when I find him throwing metal weapons into a bag.

"I have to go now. See you in three days"

He finishes off with a chaste peck to my forehead.

I blink away tears as I watch his back supporting his bag of weapons hung over his shoulder.

I follow him after I hastily wipe my eyes with my wrist.

When I reach the wrap around porch of the pack house I see men and women dressed in the same fashion.

All black with their hair tied. Faces of determination, little to no fear and fight cover all their faces.

No one looks left out they have a goal, a purpose to win the battle against the people threatening our lives.

My mate is no different standing tall and barking orders to the pack members minute before they leave.
