" I don't even know what to say. what's the crown sitting on my head for ? " she asked staring at herself in the mirror
" It still boils down to what I said of you being a queen " ZUGA replied
" A queen of what kingdom exactly ? I don't really understand what you mean when you say that. " she turned to him and asked
" You will know the kingdom very soon when you have fully experienced self realization. You have to be focused now and watch what is happening around you. You are so special and that's why all those guys are trynna kill you for their own selfish gain. There's a gift in you that attracts them " ZUGA said to sarah
" Guys are trynna kill me ? What guys ? " Sarah asked looking surprised
" C'mon Sarah, don't tell me you have forgotten so soon what happened with you and Alicia " ZUGA reminded her
" Oh that. She's probably jealous because I now roll with James who she has been having feelings for and that's it " she said
" No Sarah that's not it. It's deeper than that. Do not let anyone deceive you with their words, you have to think for yourself. Meanwhile, the time for you to rule is close and now is the right time for your mind to be fully open to know things you don't know before. Things that are unbelievable to you but are actually true, things that's gonna leave you heartbroken and not trust anyone again even the ones who claims to love you. The way you handle these things is what matters in the coming days which are evil " he explained to her
" Ok but I'm still not satisfied with all you are telling me because you haven't gone into the one that matters to me themost " Sarah said to ZUGA without and less bothered of his last statement
" Which is ? " Zuga asked her
" My dad zuga ". She said as she walks close to him in emotions . " I still don't know what happened to my dad and where he is now. I feel there is more to it and you have to tell me because am already loosing it " she said
" You think knowing where your dad is right now is what you really need toknow ? Nah...what I think you should be after is who his killers are and not where he is right now.... Your dad is fine wherever he is " ZUGA replied, leaving her in excitement
" My dad is fine. Does that mean he's not dead ? " She asked excitedly
" Your dad never died he......"
" So that means he's alive " she interrupted him
" Yesh he's is but not in the physical plane " ZUGA responded
" So which means ? " She asked curiously
" Which means that you can't see him since he's no longer in his human form " ZUGA said leaving her in a state of disappointment.
" Oh damn. Now that's so disappointing " she said as she sluggishly sat down on the seat in the room and looking so sober
" I know you really wanna know about where your dad is but you can still make him proud. Ok now lemme tell you something " . Zuga said as he drew a chair closer to her and sat close .
" You can get to see your dad in the spiritual plane " he Said and she turns to look at him alive again
" I don't understand. Are you kidding me, you are trying to pull my legs right ? " Sarah asked him trying to be sure if what he said was true
" No I'm not Sarah. Im not kidding with you or trying to pull your legs as you have said. I'm serious " he said to her calmly
" Then why didn't you tell me about it since I have been asking ? " Sarah asked him
" Because it's a secret. A secret am not supposed to tell you as your guardian spirit " he said to her
" Ok so why are you telling me now if your ain't supposed to ? " She asked him
" Because I wanna help you. I see how curious you are to see your dad and am willing to help . Are you in or not ? " He asked her and she responded curiously
" Ofcorse I am. I really wanna know so can you tell me what it will take ? " She asked so willingly
" Yes but pause for a sec. I want you to promise me something " he asked her
" What is it you want me to promise you ? " She asked paying more attention
" I want you to promise you will never tell anyone about this. Not even your mom, it should be between me and you. Ok ? " He asked her seriously
" Ok I'm cool with that. So what can I do " she agreed quickly; still curious on hearing what he was about to say to her
" Good. Now we are first gonna start with your self realization because without that, nothing can be done. how it goes is that, you are gonna fully awaken your inner demon and angel but you must becareful to know how to control them most especially the demon which always seems to be most stubborn and outta control; but you can control it with full concentration and meditation then after that, you are gonna take your place after your dad in ruling and then you can see him " ZUGA explained and even left her in more questions
" What ? Did I just hear you say; take my place after my dad on the throne ? I never knew my dad was a king, and the worst of it all, you never told me that " she asked in confusion
" Your dad was a king and a good one at that. And that's why his picture has always been in this room because we respect him so much for that and his good works was what got him killed by people who he loved and cared to be his family " ZUGA said to her
" Oh damn. He died outta betrayal. It's so painful, can I please know the persons who did this to him ? I know my mom knows something about it but she isn't saying anything about it. she is always complaining of people who killed my dad to be after my life if she tells me anything and I really wanna know, so can you please let me know about it please, I know you know something " Sarah pleaded with ZUGA seriously for him to tell her the secret of her dad's death which she thinks her mom has been hiding from her.
" No I can't tell you that sarah. How I wish I could but I would be going against the rules " he said to her bluntly
" Yes but sometimes in life you have to go against the rules just for you to see things go well. Isn't it ? " She asked him in a persuasive way
" Yes that's true and I have already done that by telling you little secrets just now which am not supposed to but I have got limits Sarah. You can find out about this all by yourself and I believe that. Just keep your heads down and don't trust anyone. I guess this is where I will leave you, I have said enough.... " ZUGA said to her as he prepared to leave but it seems Sarah still wasn't satisfied.
" But why , I'm not done in asking questions " Sarah complained
" You can't be done with the questions Sarah. You really can't " ZUGA said to her
" And how do you know that ? " Sarah asked him
" Because I can see your heart. I can see the loads of questions that are troubling to you. Sometimes, you sit down and ask If you can even carry them but the truth is yes, you can. That's if you get life teach you by himself because he's the greatest teacher and that's all I have to say to you for now. Please be careful and make sure you don't say this our discussions to anyone, even your mom . Peace be. By the way, your mom is already back " ZUGA said and Sarah immedietely returned from the the trance back to reality finding herself sitting on the couch. She checked the wall clock and saw that the time was already 10 pm
" I thought he said mom is back, why ain't I seeing her around or has she gone upstairs ? " She asked herself looking round when she heard the door bell range and knew it was her mom.
" Oh yeah great. I guess he's right after all " she said as she walked to get the door quickly.
" Hey Mom welcome " she said when she opened the door for her mom
" Thank you dear. Have you had dinner ? " Mrs peter asked as she walked into the house exhausted while Sarah helped her with her handbag
" Yes mom, I prepared spaghetti and sauced fish. You ain't in a good mood mom, can you explain what happened ? " She asked as her mom fell on the couch while she joined her
" I had a really stressful day at work today, and when I thought I would come home early and rest, the police interrupted my plans and made it worst " she said still looking moody
" How did it go at the police station. What were they talking about " Sarah asked her mom who was looking all sad
" They said I have got something to do with the murder of Mr Cross and jeff " she weakly said
" What, that's insane. How can they say a thing like that. Do they have any prove ? " Sarah blurted angrily.
" Yeah they came up with some fake prove of a knife that got my finger prints on it claiming it was the same used in plucking out the eyes and vital organ of James which is so ridiculous " Mrs Peter said in frustration
" Damn ! How does that even make any sense, the press never recorded anything like that, I was there and took note of everything before I wrote a report on it.This is a set up mom. That evidence isn't enough " Sarah said in concern
" Not only that dear. They said am into somekind of Satan occult and we kill for blood which the mark found on Jeff and Cross body is our symbol and it's engraved on the rings we wear around the town " Mrs peter added
" Oh shit, now this one is really ridiculous. They don't have anything to prove that " she said
" Ofcorse they did find one in my car " Mrs Peter said
" What do you mean mom " Sarah asked, surprised of what her mom Said
" They asked me to go open my car for a check up and I did which they found a bronze ring with the mark engraved on it that I don't know how it came about " she replied her
" What ? No.. no ..no .. no..no now this is getting really serious. How did they see such a thing ?" Sarah asked already infuriated
" I really don't know Sarah. It's a plan work " Mrs peter replied
" Oh godammit. So what are the police saying about it now " Sarah curiously asked her mom
" Well they allowed me to go since they are still looking for more prove and for the fact that am an influential and well known under the condition that I wouldn't travel or hide else, I would be declared wanted " she explained to Sarah
" That's crazy. For how long mom ?" Sarah asked
" As long as it would take for them to investigate and prove my fate; if guilty or not guilty " Mrs peter said
" Wow. Ok mom we both know this is definitely a plan work. Someone is behind this evil plot but do you know who it is ? " Sarah asked her mom closely
" Yes, its detective frank " Mrs peter replied
" Detective frank. How ? " She asked in surprise
" He did this Sarah. he was the one that carried out the wrong investigations against me and even told me that I will pay darely for how I embarrassed him " she said to sarah
" How you embarrassed him ? What did you do to him mom ? " Sarah asked
" Ok. Remember I told you he was into me right ? " She asked sarah who responded with a nodd
he came to the house one morning after you had left for work and saw me on towel as I was just about to bath when he came, so I offered him a drink and decided to go bath upstairs when he walked closed to me and tries to run his hands on my body then I insulted him and sent him out angrily. I guess that's was the reason he did what he did " she explained to sarah
" Mom. He did this and you couldn't tell me, why ? " Sarah asked in shock
" Sorry dear. I never thought it would have been necessary " Mrs Peter said
" No mom, you should have told me so I will know the kind of a person we are dealing with. Look at me all this while thinking he is a good man who is trying to help us find out what killed Jeff and cross not knowing he is just an ass " Sarah said disappointedly
" I'm sorry dear " Mrs Peter said to her daughter sincerely
" No prob mom. that isn't the issue now, what we should be worried about is how we can get out of this setup and make him pay for it " sarah said
" Yeah sure. That is what I have reasoned before even leaving the police station Dr home " Mrs Peter Said
" Ok so.have you got any plans because my plan is for us to report what he did to his office and Sue him for trying to set you up" Sarah said angrily
" No Sarah there's no need for that. The police aren't bit gonna believe us if we should tell then that. They would think we are simply trying set him up for bringing up a cast of murder again me " Mrs Peter said
" Ok so you gave a better plan ? What should we do about him now ? " Sarah asked looking at her mom who was already smiling strangely.
" Well I'm gonna make him confess all what he has done in pain before making him pay in a darely in a regretful way " she said to sarah smiling
" In a regretful way, what do you mean by that mom. He's a cop remember ? " She told get mom
" Don't worry Sarah, I Know how to deal with him. Just don't bother yourself ok ?" Mrs peter replied calmly
" Ok mom please do and go have dinner, I prepared it so deliciously for you " Sarah smile and said to her mom
" O yeah . Ok lemme go shower upstairs " Mrs Peter replied
" Ok mom well think am off to bed now, goodnight Mom I need to rest now " Sarah Said
" Oh dear I just remembered. I'm sorry I didn't take you to go buy the car I promised you this weekend. The police just spoilt my day so badly; I will make it up to you " Mrs Peter said, remembering her promise to Sarah on the new car
" No problem mom. Good night "
" Good night dear have a nice sleep "..
" And you to mom " they both said they each other and Departed to their rooms
