Chapter Twenty-Seven

[P.O.V. Adriana Braxton]

After Zyston woke up, word spread fast that the Higher King recovered from his wounds. In the next couple of weeks, everyone celebrated hard from our victory of winning this war. The victory wasn't the only thing celebrated; there were also lots of weddings and coronations. Also, during those weeks, there was a lot of help with the cleanup, along with funerals for those who died.

With a little time and magic, all the King's and Queen's rebuilt their Kingdoms. Zyston being Higher King he had a statue made. For every Kingdom statue, it was of their God or Goddess. Below the statue were the names of all those who were lost in this war. For the statue that rested in our new Kingdom, it was the same tattoo on Zyston chest, The one that all the God's and Goddess's gave him. Below this statue talked about those who gave their lives. Around this statue was the same God's and Goddess's statue we gave every Kingdom.

Sense Zyston and I are now Higher King and Queen. Rulers of all King's and Queen's and all Kingdoms. The question of who is going to rule the Moon Goddess Kingdom? Along with who is the Sixth King? is asked. Come to find out whichever of the Five Kings won the war. Their second in command will take over to rule that kingdom. In other words, the Sixth King and Queen are Tyler and Katrina. They are now King and Queen of the Moon Goddess Kingdom. Zyston and I are King and Queen of the Heart of the Kingdom, Kingdom of all Gods, and Goddesses. Which means I can finally go home, the place where I grew up, Raven City.

With a lot of magic and great power, a shield was placed around the whole Kingdom. To protect the supernatural world and the humans that lived in our world. Those humans that didn't want to live in this shield don't have any memory of this place. In fact, this entire Kingdom was erased from the human world. The only ones that know of this Kingdom are the supernatural and the humans that live here.

With the money Zyston has saved over the years he has lived. He was able to rebuild his companies in the human world. To keep an eye on the supernatural that lived out in the human world.

Raven City was rebuilt, and it didn't look like humans built it. It looked like a huge town that you would see in fairy tale books. I even got my castle that Zyston said he would build me. Everything is going amazing; it wasn't easy at first. But in the end, I finally got my happy ending and new beginnings.

{A Year Later...}

Today is Riley and Jared's birthday. I can't believe my twins are turning one day. Most of the Kingdom has come to celebrate their Higher Prince's birthday. Everything is ready for tonight's event. I decided to put the party outside of the castle with new gardens. I am currently in the kitchen to make sure everything ready. Finishing and making sure the cake looked perfect.

"What do you think?" Asking my new Beta Female to ask her opinion.

"Look fine, Adri. Can we go get ready now?" Scarlet reply's back.

"Yes, we can get ready now." Giving her a huge happy sigh. Leaving the kitchen together, we go to our own rooms to get ready.

After showering and putting on a beautiful and very slimming purple dress, that goes to my knees and put on a pair of black sandal heels. Curling my long raven black hair. Applying some makeup and some jewelry, including my crown, I was all ready to go. Glancing at the clock, the party will start in fifteen minutes. 'Where Zyston and the Twins?' Wondering to myself.

Getting up to look for my family, I found them in the Twins bedroom. Zyston was sitting on the floor, tickling them. From the last past year, Zyston and the Twins have really come close. They both looked cute in their matching little suits and their little crown. Zyston looked handsome as ever in his black suit and matching purple tie. Leaning in the doorway and making a grunting like sound Zyston looks up at me.

"This is not getting the kids ready for the party." Telling him with a smile on my face.

"Right.." Getting off the floor, he helps straighten out their clothes. Once their clothes were straightened out, we headed downstairs to the party. Before we head downstairs, I pull on his suit jacket and give him a big kiss.

Introductions were made, and with the Higher King permission, the party starts. The party was a huge hit; we got to see old friends and family members. With Katrina taking the twins, Zyston and I were able to have a dance together.

Dancing with Zyston as he holds me tight to him. Emerald green eyes staring into stormy grey, butterflies dancing in my stomach.

"You look gorgeous, my Queen," Zyston compliments me with "awe" in his voice.

"You're looking mighty fine yourself, my King." Complimenting him back. He presses his lips on mine, and mine kisses him back. For most of the night, we get lost in the music and danced the night away.

[P.O.V. Zyston Woods]

{ Five years later...}

It's amazing how fast time flies by; today are Adriana and My 5th anniversary. Instead of giving her a ball to celebrate, I will take her away to our cabin. We both could use a couple of days to ourselves. It not exactly easy to be Higher King and Queen.

Driving in my truck, we pull up to the cabin. Adriana has been excited the whole way up. She opens the door and runs out to the boat dock. Couldn't help but laugh on the inside at her. After getting our luggage in the cabin, I join her at the boat dock. She looks absolutely beautiful with her way swaying in the wind. Hugging her from her back, holding her tight to me as we watched the sunset.

"Catch me." She says with a huge smile on her face while she faces me.

"What?" I was totally confused at first.

She runs out of my embrace off the boat dock and towards the forest. Then it clicked with me; she wanted to go for a run. Stripping her clothes off while heading towards the trees. Once she was completely naked, she shifts into her wolf. Following behind her stripping my clothes off and shifting into Travis. Catching up to her, we let our wolves play with one another.

Tackling her down a hill, we roll together at the bottom. We shift back to human forms. She just laid there on her back, laughing hard. So was I just not as hard as her. Laying next to her watching her laugh fills my whole body with proudness that she mine. I'm glad that Mother Moon paired me with this woman. Her stormy grey eyes catch with mine.

"I love you, Mrs. Woods." Telling her lovingly.

"I love you too, Mr. Woods." She tells me back. Pressing my chest up against hers. Giving her a deep kiss showing how much I love her. Leaving us both breathless, we didn't stop there.
