Chapter Three

[P.O.V. Adriana Braxton]

The Orchard looked beautiful with all the mason jar lights and stringed lights. White and different shades of pink flowers everywhere. It looked like something out of a fairy-tale book. Greeting everyone at the party, I got to meet the King's and Queen's.

The first future royal couple I met were vampires. Their names are Draven and Ambrosia Valerno, Kingdom of the Sun God, Helios. The second future royal couple I met were Elves. Their names were Elaran and Ember Beckett, Kingdom of the Goddess of Nature, Gaea. The third future royal couple I met was a warlock and witch there names are Blaise Creely and Sybil Easton, Kingdom of the Goddess of Dawn, Eos. The fourth future royal couple I met were Dwarves. Their names were Thodol and Glorna Alcott, Kingdom of the Stone God, Hephaestus. Making Zyston and I are the Fifth future royal couple, Kingdom of the Moon Goddess, Selene. After talking to the fourth couple, I look at Zyston, a little confused.

"I thought the prophecy said there was six?" Asking him

"The sixth couple hasn't been found yet," Zyston says. Taking my hand with his, he takes me to the dance floor. Holding me in his arms and mine around his neck. Getting lost in the music and each other for what seemed like hours. Emerald green eyes staring into stormy gray.

"This is the best part of my whole night." Saying with enjoyment.

"Hmm... You think so?" Zyston says with a small smile on his face.

"I know, so."

"Well, I would say it is the best, but not the best part."

"What.., What do you mean?" Feeling a little confused, he gives me an ear to ear smile and mischievous look. He leads us off the dance-floor and into the orchard.

Following some beautiful lights leading us out of the orchard to a beautiful pond with a gazebo. The pond was lite with candles that were floating on top of the water. The gazebo was lit up with stringed lights and had beautiful flowers grown over it; it was just breathtaking. Filled with excitement grabbing his hand all but running into the gazebo. Letting go of his hand looking at the pond from the gazebo and listening to the music from the ball.

"This is beautiful, But I still think that dancing together was the best part." Saying with a tease, Zyston didn't say anything at all. Looking behind me, he was kneeling on one knee. A small little black box in his hand, a beautiful diamond ring with a gold band, was in it. My heart was pounding, and my breath was hitched.

"I have been searching for a Mate for quite awhile. It got to the point I even thought my Mate could have been dead. The day that I first laid my eyes on you, not only was my search over and feeling relieved, but I was also ecstatic. I knew from that day forward I wanted nothing but to protect, love, and cherish you. Adriana Roslyn Braxton, will you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?" Zyston asks. I didn't even have to think about it kneeling in front of him.

"Yes!" My voice coming out loud and excited, also a little squeaky. Zyston chuckles at me while placing the ring on my finger. Hugging him tight to me, kissing him lovingly and deeply. "Okay, now I have to admit this right here is the best part of tonight."

Zyston giving me he huge ear to ear smile; we laugh together. Dancing to one more song together as future husband and wife.

Once the ball ended, we all went home. Katrina, Jolene, and I in the back of the cab of the truck cooing over my new ring. Getting into the house, Tyler suggested having some more champagne to celebrate. Zyston took a glass and grabs my hand, and now is dragging me to our bedroom.

"Why are we going to bed? Didn't you want to celebrate our engagement?" Asking Zyston with not understanding.

"Because we're going to be doing some of our own celebrating." He answers calmly. 'Holy damn!' Hearing this has my body and me excited. Opening our bedroom door, we walk in, having me standing at the bottom of the bed. He closes the door, leans against it, and takes a sip of the champagne.

"Strip, Adriana." His voice dark and deeper with lust.

"What?.." I was a little confused. He usually always undresses me.

"Undress, Little Light." Understanding and obeying his command taking off my dress until it pooled around my feet. Leaving only my jewelry, black stocking, golden heels, and pink underwear with a golden pink garter belt on. Small appreciated growl rumble in his chest, making my pulsing womanhood very wet. "Touch every inch of your body when you get to that delicious pink flower. I want you to touch yourself as if I'm doing it."

Finishing the rest of the champagne, he pulls the glass away, giving his next command.

"Patience, Little Light." He says. Listening to a drawer opening, my heart was racing with adrenaline, and my body is enjoying his game. Feeling him standing right behind me, placing a blindfold over my eyes. Reaching down in front and between my legs, a buzzing sound and feeling ran across my skin. "We better get some sleep. We have that meeting tomorrow." Reminding Zyston in a sleepy tone, he answers with "hmm." Tomorrow we have a huge meeting with all the King's and Queen's to talk about this coming war. Looking up at Zyston, he looks back at me with sleepy eyes. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, Little Light; get some sleep." He kisses the top of my head. Snuggling closer to him with my head resting on his chest, falling into a profound sleep.

It's dark, cloudy, and very gloomy outside. I'm in some apartment. Looking outside the window, I am up very high and in the city. The apartment wasn't super expensive, but it wasn't super cheap either. Being in this place gives me the creeps. Going deeper into the apartment, there was this black wooden door. Opening it, there were candles only lighting the room up. A broken mirror piece was hanging on the wall above what looked like a witch alter. What is this place? Standing in front of the alter, tracing the symbol on the mirror piece. The door slamming behind me, making me jump. Looking at the door feeling something behind, turning around slowly a human-made out of black smoke and dark blood-red eyes. Was standing there before me, just glaring at me. My heart was pounding so hard from fear. I thought it was going to burst. My lungs feel like they were on fire, working so hard to try to keep up. I could feel the evil radiate off him in powerful waves. The smoke man screaming a sound like more than one person was screaming. Attacking me, grabbing onto my arms, just screaming in my face. High pitch scream leaving my mouth as well.
