Hardship

"Was that all the bearer told you?" Lindsey who had first been shocked and taken aback by Luisa's raging ranting, asked calmly.

Luisa didn't respond.

"That you aren't worthy because you're half-blooded and a witcher?" Lindsey continued but there was still no response from Luisa.

Lindsey sighed.

"I predicted that but Luisa," she continued and held Luisa's cheek. "You have so much resentment in your heart and it's hurting your soul. Resentment I didn't know about till this very moment, you're very good at masking your true feelings but... Thank you. Thank you for opening up to me."

"I've known hardship Luisa, non like yours but you know I have. When I lost my mother and brother. (Sighs) Luisa, I am your friend and I'm not going to stop being that now. You might not be able to get your gifts as a wood elf because of same reasons but also you might be able to."

"Such probabilities. I'm getting sick of them," Luisa replied.

"Rules are different in the various bloodlines of elves. You're already looking for a way to summon the gift bearers of the wood elves, don't stop Luisa I know you'll find a way, and your secret weapon? Not having your gifts doesn't determine that you won't get your secret weapon.

I sincerely hope you'll be able to cleanse your heart of these resentments, friend. Go home for now, we'll talk again once you're calm. I'll relate to my father all that has happened and that your will to continue is on a thin thread but Luisa, I hope you don't let the thread break." Lindsey concluded and walked away.

Luisa sighed before she turned around and walked out of the mansion.

Before she got to Zeke's mansion, she was much calmer then.

"Someone is here to see you Miss Luisa," the butler told her.

Really?

"Okay." she responded.

"This way," the butler continued as he led the way.

He brought her to the waiting room of the first floor of the mansion.

Seated on an armed chair there was Klein Reynolds, the elf Witcher.

"Witcher Klein," Luisa started, as she took a seat too.

"Good day Luisa," he greeted.

"Good day," Luisa responded.

"I have gone to my clan and come back with lots of good news. For one, my mom is alive, well and healthy. She and everyone else welcomed me warmly, AND I was able to obtain the knowledge of how to summon the gift bearers of the wood elves." Klein expressed and almost immediately, handed her a parchment, which she collected.

"I wasn't able to bring any of the actual books for which they were written on. But after much studying of the books and the knowledge I received from stories, I wrote everything you need to know on those parchments." He continued.

"Sincerely thank you witcher Klein," Luisa appreciated.

"Once again, I'm glad I could be of help." He replied.

"And congratulations on reuniting with your mother," she added.

"Thank you."
