Summary: When Lucifer finds you laying unconscious on the beach he's at first concerned, but it doesn't take long for him to discover what you are, and when he does his concern turns into fascination.

............................................................

The sky was cloudless as Lucifer walked the shores of the beach. His suit jacket slung over his shoulder as he glanced towards the ocean. The water was black and eerie looking as it reflected off the night sky. As he looked back ahead, something caught his eye. Lucifer stopped for a minute to stare at the shape, the longer he stared the clearer it became. It was a woman, laying unconscious in the sand, the ocean water gently lapping at your feet.

"Oh dear."

Lucifer slowly approached you, looking around to see if anyone was lingering by. When he could see no one he turned his attention back to you. You looked peaceful, laying in the sand as if you were sleeping, the cut on the side of your head, and the blood dried on your temple said otherwise though. Lucifer laid his jacket over you, and checked you for a pulse. He was relieved to find one and gathered you into his arms. Your hair was wet, dripping with salt water, and sand clung to your body.

"And just what happened to you my dear?"

The first thing you noticed when you woke up was the silk sheets you were laying on. The second was the dull ache you felt in your head. As your eyes opened, and you sat up, your vision cleared, and you took note that you were no longer on the beach. When you glanced down at your body, you were also surprised to find yourself wearing clothes. You frowned a little, pulling at the shirt you were wearing.

"Oh good you're awake!"

You were immediately on guard, turning to look at the man standing by the door.

"How's your head feeling? That was a nasty little cut you had."

You slowly raised a hand to your head, finding a gauze over where your injury had been.

"Better."

Your answer was short but that didn't seem to bother him.

"Marvelous! I apologize for the clothes, I wasn't able to find anything more comfortable on such short notice, but not to worry, I've sent Maze out for more."

You nodded and slowly stood from the bed. You followed him out to the living room. Looking around the penthouse in awe. The man sat a glass down in front of you, pouring you a drink. You watched him take a sip from his own cup, before gingerly picking up your own. The smell of the strange beverage in front of you, made you scrunch your nose up slightly.

"Not a fan of bourbon? Would you like something else, I've got plenty of others to choose from my dear."

"No, this is fine." You smiled.

He nodded and watched as you sat the drink down, untouched and began to wander around. The piano seemed to hold your interest the longest, and he watched you run your fingers over the keys.

"Do you play?" Lucifer asked.

Your hand froze, fingers hovering over the keys and you smiled to yourself. A cunning smile, that probably should have worried him, but only served to make him curious.

"No, but I sing, would you like to hear?"

He nodded, and your smile grew.

Lucifer's head felt hazy, he felt sleepy and in a sort of trance. Your voice was so melodic and enchanting. Lucifer shook his head trying to clear it and you frowned, how was he resisting so much. You pushed that thought aside and continued to sing. His eyes were clouded and unfocused, his zombie like gaze focused solely on you. For a moment it seemed as though he was finally giving in, that is until he stood up suddenly, causing you to step away to avoid headbutting him.

"A siren! How intriguing, I haven't seen one of you in years!"

You blinked, looking at him confused and frustrated.

"Why didn't that work?" You muttered.

Lucifer looked at you equally confused but his eyes lit up with understanding, and he held his hand out for you to shake.

"How rude of me, I seem to have forgotten to introduce myself. Lucifer Morningstar, and who might you be my dear."

Your mind seemed to have trouble catching up with the rest of you as you numbly shook his hand.

"Y/N..."

Lucifer smiled, and you pulled your hand back, narrowing your eyes at him.

"Wait, why is the devil here? Aren't you supposed to be, you know, in hell?"

"Yes well, I got a bit bored, decided to take an indefinite vacation, but what about you darling? Are you not meant to be in the ocean, luring unsuspecting sailors to their untimely deaths?"

You finally took the drink he had offered you a while ago. You downed in, enjoying the burn it caused.

"That's not really my thing and well I was bored too, I thought I might see how much everything had changed since the last time, I was on land. I hit my head though, probably shouldn't have tried to surface during a storm."

Lucifer looked at you with excitement.

"I'd be more than happy to show you  around, help you blend in with the humans here. It's certainly been very exciting lately." Lucifer smirked.

You took a step closer to him, messing with the collar of his shirt, a coy smile playing on your lips.

"The devil himself is offering to show me around, I do hope that includes some... other activities as well."

"Oh? Feeling a little frisky are we?" He chuckled.

Lucifer's hands grabbed your hips, his lips inches from your own.

"I'd be more than happy to provide you with other activities my dear."

You had wound up spending more time in the city then you had planned. There was just so much to see, do much to do, and then there was Lucifer. It was as if he had his own siren song, everything he said, everything he did, it made you want to stay all the more. You were having far too much fun to even consider returning to your watery home yet.

At this current moment your focus was on the TV in front of you. That had always been one of your more favorable inventions the humans had made. There was seemingly an endless amount of entertainment for you to choose from. Lucifer had said many times that you paid more attention to the magical little box then you did him.

"I'll be there shortly Detective."

That tore your focus away from the TV and you turned your head to look at Lucifer who was putting his phone in his pocket and heading towards the elevators.
