Cheating mission during an Exam?!

As the wind swept through the trees at a playground, the leaves wilted and dropped, as though finally free of their responsibilities and hinted at the arrival of the autumn season.

It was a very popular season among Japanese students, not because it was a lovely period, but because it was also the time when their exams began.

-Kyoto International High School

*Ding Dong*

Throughout the school, an announcement was made.

[All class X students are expected to appear at the test venue at or before 8:30 a.m. Late entries will not be accepted. Best of luck with your examinations.]

-At the same moment, outside a nearby internet café

"Hey, aren't you supposed to be taking an exam today?" How do you have so much time to play with us despite also doing well on tests?", Asked a slim teenager with a wolf haircut.

They would both hang out and play video games at the cafe, but when it came to grades, Shuya was always #1 in class!

And every time he sought guidance from Shuya, he would simply say:

"Tch, I just pulled an all-nighter before my examinations. It doesn't take much effort, you know."

When the slender boy heard the same bullsh*t again, he swore secretly, "F*ck! What is it about this person that makes him act the way he does? One night is enough for you to study everything?!

*Click*

"Geez. Right now, your face is uglier than ever, with jealousy written all over it. This would be an amazing profile picture to show your girlfriend."

"You wimp, remove that right now."

Shuya and his childhood buddy, Hatori, were chatting casually as they exited the Internet cafe. Despite their differences, they remain close friends to this day.

After fooling around for a while, they each went their ways.

"Well, I've got 10 minutes left, so I'd better make the most of it."

Shuya recalled he had to travel to the exam location and rode his bicycle at an alarming pace, even faster than a motorbike!

- Ella's POV:

The students were informed that the curriculum had been abruptly altered, resulting in the addition of six additional lessons.

"It stressed me out while preparing for the upcoming exam, but luckily, I could cover the entire curriculum on time." Ella pondered to herself as she departed from the school bus, recalling everything she had learned.

A bicycle suddenly flashed past her.

*Swoosh*

Time seemed to have slowed and soon she noticed the face of the youngster riding the bicycle.

He was a classmate of hers.

His gleaming black hair, chiselled jaw, and piercing blue eyes made him look incredibly appealing. But there was something unusual about him; she spotted a faint radiance flowing through his body.

She had been sensing this strange glow surrounding him for a few weeks. Ella initially wondered, "Is there something wrong with my vision? Or is it because I have a crush on him I see him sparkling every day?" Her cheeks were flushed with a faint line of blush.

However, after witnessing an unexpected incident, she was certain that Shuya was concealing something.

One day, Shuya accidentally dropped his phone beneath a truck. You'll never believe what he did next! With one hand, he lifted the massive vehicle from the ground while picking up his phone with the other. Ella was passing by at the time and witnessed what had occurred.

Even more convincing was the fact that she saw that radiant light course through his arms just as he was about to lift the truck.

Although she appeared uninterested on the surface, she was quite intrigued! Ella is fully up to date on her fantasy knowledge because she is a huge admirer of Chinese novels.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she wondered if Shuya had any real-life superpower!

While several scenarios and movie plots raced through her mind, she noticed the examination was about to begin and started rushing toward the exam location.

- Examination room

[The evaluation is about to begin. Students, please take your seats.]

Quickly after the announcement ended, the invigilator began to pass around the question papers. Except, he was standing in the same spot. That's right! He expertly spun the question paper and flicked it about, and every single one landed neatly on the students' table.

The kids applauded quietly as they admired their teacher's abilities. Meanwhile, the teacher had a pleased expression on his face, as if he were a former commander who had taken down innumerable enemies with pinpoint accuracy.

Now, it was time for the exam to begin.

Shuya's face revealed a tinge of boredom and emitted the "This is far too simple. You're calling this a test?" look. He began tapping his pen on the table and humming famous melodies.

The invigilator didn't appreciate his behaviour and thought it was directed at him, so he swiftly grabbed a chalk and hurled it towards his least favourite student, Shuya. In the hopes of teaching him a lesson.

*Woosh*

Shuya's attention was drawn to the chalk's entailing sound, and he caught it with his two fingers in an almost superhuman-like response! In his hands, the once-lethal and sharp-looking chalk had transformed into a small innocuous toy.
