Falling in love with him

Two years have already passed

Chai Xi got up from the bed and changed her pyjamas. The door opened and Fang Tangxiao walked in with a glass of ginger juice in his hands.

"Good morning Xi Xi" he sat by her and placed the milk in her hands.

The day before Chai Xi was having period cramps the whole day so she couldn't even walk, it was the maids who brought in the food but she puked them all out in the evening. This morning he had prepared this ginger drink for her so she would get a little bit better.

During the past years, Chai Xi and Fang Tangxiao had become closer. He sometimes allowed her to go out but was escorted by him.

Chai Xi sat in her room as she thought about how close she and Fang Tangxiao had become, he didn't realise but she had realised that she had fallen in love with him so madly. She knew that if she wanted to go out he would escort her so she always went shopping.

Her birthday was next month, on the first of March but she wouldn't be able to celebrate just like in the past two years. She had never forgotten about her father and her mom and sister. Her twin sister. She wished she could be free again because although she lived freely it still couldn't count to when she lived her life normally.

She still didn't have access to a phone except for watching television.

*Knock..knock*

A knock snapped Chai Xi out of her thoughts.

"Come in"

A maid walked in holding a tray with some dishes and ginger juice as well. The maid placed the food on the table opposite the bed.

"The young master said to tell you to drink the juice first before taking the dishes"

"Hmm"

She glanced at the tray for a while before getting up to take the juice. If not for the fact that she was on her period, she would have gone downstairs for Lunch. She had to thank Fang Tangxiao because if not for the ginger juice, the pain would not have subsided.

Today was a weekend and Fang Tangxiao did not have any plans of going out. After making sure Chai Xi received the Lunch he went to his room to take a short nap. Just as he got into his room his phone rang.

*Beep..beep...beep*

"Hello" a hoarse voice rang through

"Boss..boss you have to come immediately" one of his men shouted from the other side of the phone.

Chai Xi missed watching the Cherry Blossom tree. She loved watching it and staying there with it, she would try to convince Fang Tangxiao to let her go watch them. 🌸 Cherry Blossoms were the only things that made her happy, this was because she spent most of her memories with her father under the Cherry Blossom trees.

Fang Tangxiao wore a blue shirt and black pants matching a black canvas. He took his phone and car key and walked out. Chai Xi had gone outside to get some air. She knew that he didn't have any schedule so seeing him going out, she was surprised.

"Where to?" she asked

"Business" he walked away

Watching his back as he left, she smiled. One thing that Fang Tangxiao didn't know about Chai Xi was that she had a poor heart, her heart was weak and four years ago, the doctor told her she had about six years to live. Counting now, it seemed she had only one and a half years to live. She walked back to her room, she would like to spend her few years with Fang Tangxiao and since that guy was ruthless he probably wouldn't love her which was good. This meant that only she loved him but he didn't love her, if she died he wouldn't care that much. She started planning to confess her love to him, she giggled at the thought of it.

Fang Tangxiao rushed to his brother's room, he didn't understand why his men called him with such fright. He reached the door and paused, then after a while, he pushed the door open and walked in slowly.

"Boss Boss Boss your brother...he..he"

Fang Tangxiao became annoyed"Cut the crap and spit it out," he said coldly.

"He opened his eyes, the..the doctor had gone out so I was monitoring him, then his finger moved and he opened his eyes. He drifted into unconsciousness a few minutes ago"

"Why...why am I always a few minutes late to his consciousness when my brother becomes conscious?, am I cursed?" Fang Tangxiao held his head as he screamed.

The men around were shocked, they had never seen the boss this desperate.

Fang Tangxiao crawled on the floor to his brother's bed and sat on the floor beside his brother.
