Amadea? Wasn't that the name… that my father used to say?
I turned to him to take another look at the man. Amadea was the name of the person my father always looked for. He was the guardian of Birwick Mountain, and the Kingdom of Birwick, which was near to Birwick Mountain, must have often heard of that legendary name. I also had heard the story several times.
It was a bedtime story that talked of a figure who always guarded Birwick Mountain and got the blessing of power directly from the Sun God. A figure who would protect Birwick Mountain from anyone who planned to destroy it.
But, that was an old legend.
