CHAPTER 9

I CRIED FOR almost 20 minutes so we also stood on the side of the road for twenty minutes while hugging each other.

No noise could be heard other than my crying and some passing cars.

When I calmed down a bit, he was the first to release. I was still a little embarrassed because the right side of his uniform was wet so I slightly bowed.

"Uhm ... s-sorry" I said to him

He didn't speak so I looked at him and saw his eyebrow raised at me.

If we weren't in this situation, I might have praised him for his handsome look while raising an eyebrow.

I blushed a little and pointed to the part of his uniform that was wet because I cried earlier "I-I made your uniform wet"

He barely glanced at his uniform but did nothing.

"Why are you here?" He asked me

I was surprised at his question. Wrong, it is more correct to say that I was surprised because he talked to me.

"H-ha? Uhm my driver can't pick me up" I replied when I recovered from the shock

"Tss"

He has already walked away from me so he might leave.

"Come in"

I looked at Santi when she spoke a little louder because we were a little far from each other. He was leaning against the hood of a car. Lykan Hypersport to be exact.

Wait, he owned that car? Why didn't I seem to notice that before? And what's more, it's so expensive, that's what was used in a movie, right? And if I'm not mistaken that kind of car is limited only.

"What? Aren't you going to ride?" His voice is a little irritated when he spoke again so I hurriedly approached him

"Are you just gonna stand there?" he asked while still leaning on the hood of the car

I was going to go to the backseat to ride but I stopped because Santi spoke again.

"I'm not a driver" he said and then got in the driver's seat so I just got in the front

Why is he so irritated? Earlier when we had lunch he didn't talk much and now he's talking, but he seems so pissed.

When I sat in the passenger seat and after I fastened my seat belt I thought we were leaving but he did not turn on the engine.

"Uhm aren't we leaving yet?" I asked with hesitation

I remember him before, how he fought the three men, how while he was talking he could make you feel scared.

"Address" I turned to him when he spoke

"H-ha? Address?" I wondered

"Your home address" he said while tapping the steering wheel

"Our home address? Why?" I asked him

Will he come to our address?

He closes his eyes as if holding back his anger.

W-why? I'm not doing anything, am I?

"You're dumb. How can I send you home if I don't know your address?" pissed off its question

And now I realize that he doesn't know where our house is. But hey, I'm not dumb.

"Ha? I'm sorry. In Chan Village, two corners pass the court" I explained

He did not speak but turned on the engine and started driving.

We were quiet in the car so I just looked out the window.

We got inside the village without making any noise. As in so quiet I'd rather hear Haidee and Jonathan tease. Don't get me wrong, not that I don't want to be with Santi, it just seems a bit uncomfortable when it's too quiet to the point that you're embarrassed to move because you might make a little noise. And I can say that being quiet makes you salivate.

"Which one?" Santi asked so I turned to her

Only now did I notice that our vehicle had stopped

I'm wondering, how did he find out about this place? Has he been here before?

"Just keep going in that direction and you'll see a white house" I said while pointing in the direction

"Seriously? Can't you see, almost every house in here are white?" he raised an eyebrow at me

"Ahh hehe yes, the one with the brown gate then next to the gate there is 042 then at the bottom there is Martin Residence" I explained and he just nodded and we started to move

Why am I absent-minded now? He is right that almost all the houses here are white so why did I say that?

When we got in front of our house we went down together.

Our house is big but it's not too big. He has three floors but the third is an open area, rooftop.

"Uhm come in first" I invite him

"No need" he said while looking at our house

"All right, come in and you have a wound on the side of your lip, let's treat it first" I said while pointing at the side of his lip that had a wound

Because maybe that was the blow to him earlier.

"It's nothing" he said and then touched his wound

I saw him frown so I smiled.

"Come on in" I said to him and then held his hand and we entered together

When we entered the house I saw one of our maids, Aunt Nellie in the living room while watching TV. Aunt Nellie is 30+ and we are close to each other because she was the one who watched over me when I was young.

"Oh? You're home already.." Nellie greeted me and looked at my companion and our hands "... and you have someone with you" she said teasingly

This is the first time I have brought someone home.

"Uhm my schoolmate" I said with a smile and let go of Santi's hand

"Oh, go ahead, I'll prepare something to eat first, huh" Aunt Nellie said goodbye and went to the kitchen

I pulled Santi to sit on the couch so we could sit there.

"W-wait, I'll just get first aid there" I said goodbye to him who just nodded so I looked for first aid

When I returned, I saw Santi and Nellie talking, so I approached them.

"Oh my gosh, are you alright?" sister Nellie asked me worriedly

"Yes?" I wondered

"Because Santi told me what happened to you, it's just good that nothing bad happened to you" he explained

"I'm fine" I said laughing

"Oh wait and I'll call your mommy and daddy, I'll leave you there first" she whispered in a hurry and then left

"Let's start" I said to Santi as I sat down and took out the things I was going to use
