Oh My Eyes!

"Why did you tell them that?" Rose looked askance at Jude. Jude raised his eyebrow and casually flung his arm on her shoulder that actually irked Rose a little. She always hate it whenever someone flung their arm casually on her shoulder.

"My dear… We are indeed going to marry each other. What's wrong with that?" Jude asked her. Rose sighed. She must tell him not to think too much about the current situation. But how to? It seemed like Jude was adamant to keep her, while she was uncertain about some issues.

"Er… Can't we just pretend that nothing happen last night? You see, both of us are adults like I said earlier… so…" Rose began to sweat profusely as Jude looming over her with his murderous gaze at the moment. He had entrapped her with his hands while Rose gulped down her saliva, nervous with the way he reacted. But she won't backed down. She stared back at his murderous gaze.

"What do you mean by nothing happen last night? What am I?" His voice was cold. Rose clenched her hands, still stubbornly stared back.

"I…" she couldn't refute him. Rose sighed and closed her strained eyes due to the gazing competition with Jude earlier while rearranged her inner thoughts. It was then Jude realized that Rose was a little pale. He frowned.

"Are you okay? You look pale," he asked worriedly and touched her forehead. It was then her stomach growled. Gosh! It was so embarrassing! Rose looked at him embarrassedly. Jude couldn't help but laughed at her. It was then he recalled Jeremy's message telling him that she left them without touching her food at all.

"Sorry, I'm hungry." She admitted. Jude ruffled her head and smiled charmingly at her before he went to his table and ordered lunch to be sent to his office. Rose was speechless. She could only have herself to blame.

"Anyway, back to what I have said earlier…" This time Jude strode towards her and pulled her into his embrace.

"Don't say anything like that. Ever. You only need to consider whether you love me or not. As for me, I love you and I care about you. That is all that matter to me. I don't give a damn about anything else." He muttered to her ears that made her shuddered. Her eyes glistened all of sudden and they were brimmed with tears.

Devon had never spoke such words to her, let alone to have some romantic gestures. When he started to over-showing his affections, she could see the insincerity in everything he did for her. Hence, she had asked a friend of her, who was a private detective to investigate him. It was not surprising to find that he was actually had to settle a huge debt and he was shortage of money to payback.

That was why she was drugged a month ago. He even had the audacity to obtain the lethal drug – G20 from the black market in order to have his way with her, so that she could provide for him. A scumbag he is!

Thanks for that fateful night, she stumbled on Jude Townshend. The man who wrapped her in his arm at the moment. The man that made her heart raced vigorously that she was breathless. A man that she never thought could display his love the way he did. And he made her feel special, safe and loved. She was unknowingly returned his hug and sighed in content. Jude who realized that she returned his hug tighter than he was, beaming broadly.

"No one ever made me feel like you do..." Rose mumbled softly in his arms. Jude gave out heartily laugh when he heard her. He took a step back and looked into her eyes before saying, " because you haven't met me before and you, deserve the best, honey," He planted a deep kiss on her lips which she recipotrate gladly.

" Oh my eyes! My eyes! Gosh I shouldn't barged in!" a shrieking voice brought them back to reality. Rose blushed hard while Jude frowned at his sister Abigail, who barged in office. Tony rubbed his reddened nose awkwardly as he too, had incidentally witnessed the scene.

" You didn't tell me my sister-in-law is in!Look what have you done. Oh my eyes saw something they shouldn't see..." Abigail glared at the innocent look Tony. Tony could only raised his shoulder nonchalantly.

"Bro, sis," Abigail flashed her sweetest smile to both of them. Jude smirked while Rose smiled embarrasedly in Jude's arms. Oh well, she was indeed embarrassed being caught twice today by different people. And this time it was Abigail. And wait... Did she address me sis? She was floored. She blinked her eyes in confusion. Could it be that Townshend's elders told her? That could be the case.

"What are you doing here?" Jude asked her coldly. Abigail walked towards the sofa and sat.

"Actually mom and dad wanted to give you a call, asking you to bring along sis for dinner tonight at Imperial banquet room. But I took the courtesy to come here personally to tell you that." Abigail blurted her words and she seemed like she was excited to have caught sight his brother kissing a young lady. This was awesome! Who could she blame when she never saw her brother so smitten by a woman before. Oh! She was about to have a sister-in-law anyway! Awesome!

"We will be there. Anything else?"

"Oh, Bro. Can I bring my sis to do some shopping now?" That was her true intention after all. She wanted to bring her soon-to-be sister-in-law to shop. She had been shopping with her friends before but today, it was special. She was going to have a sister! So she believe that she can go shopping with this sister of hers! How fantastic is the idea!

Rose who heard her had her eyes widen in disbelief. Shopping? At this hour? Won't it sound so inappropriate? Really? While Jude had a different expression on his displeased face.

"We are busy discussing some matters. Maybe some other time." Jude directly rejected her wish to shop with Rose. How dare she took away my woman at this moment for - shopping? What on earth was she thinking?

"What's there to discuss? Won't we have the time to discuss later at night during the dinner?" Abigail won't backed down. Jude pinched his forehead. "And I see is that you have your hands all over my sis' body." she added. This made Rose's face blushed hard. She gazed at Jude, gave him an assured look.

"Er... We can go for shopping next time," this time Rose spoke. She went to Abigail and gently held her hands before added, "we have lots of chances in the future. Right now, I do have serious business to talk to your brother."

The way she dealt the current issue gained Jude and Tony's admiration. They never thought she could solve the matter by saying few nice to ears words. Jude was almost clasped his hands, elated.

" Alright then sis. Then, I'll see you tonight. You two may continue to be lovey dovey and sorry to interrupt earlier. See ya! " she swiftly turned around and left the two alone with Tony trailed behind her to close the door.
