The next day, Lilliane woke up and looked at her phone, it was 6:30am

She sits up and messaged Akira's personal phone number 'Hey Akira good morning I know this is a sudden message but is The big man Gonna be free this afternoon or night? I wanna ask him something'

Lilliane hesitated for a moment but sent the message anyways, Lilliane and Akira gotten close for the past month, surprisingly the two live close by, From time to time Akira visits Lilliane to hang out

Akira replied to Lilliane 'Yeah, want me to tell him?'

Lilliane looked at the message and sighs 'no I'll tell him myself'

Lilliane decided to message Calyx's Personal number 'Hey, Lilliane here, I just wanna ask if it's okay if we meet up later this afternoon? If you're free' And hit send

As she scroll through YouTube Cedric Sent a message to Lilliane 'Lilly mornin'

Lilliane looked at the message and replied 'Morning Ced ☺️, what's up?'

Cedric Replied immediately 'Nothin much, just woke up 😉, been thinking about you'

Lilliane cringed at what Cedric said but chuckled 'what the hell' She said

'lol, by the way I'll just get ready, I'll talk to you later' Lilliane replied

Cedric replied 'lol k, Talk to you later then'

Suddenly Calyx replied to Lilliane 'Hey good morning, and yes I am free this afternoon, Just head to the main building or I'll visit the shop later'

Lilliane checked and replied 'ill just head to the main building'

Lilliane realizes that when Cedric and her stopped talking, Calyx replied, Lilliane sighs

And tried to think of it a mere coincidence

Lilliane got up and went out of her room, She looked around, next to her room is her father's room she went to knock

Knock knock

Lilliane slowly opened the door, She saw that her father seems to be over working himself, he works in and out of the house making Lilliane worry about his health

'Dad?' Lilliane called out

Her father turned around and saw Lilliane 'oh Lilly, Good mornin, youre up early' her father said, His complexion seems to be tired, his eye bags gotten worsen, As if he hasn't slept all day long

'oh, hehe yeah.' Liliane said as she looks at him up and down

'you want some breakfast? I'll make you on-'

Her dad said as he stands up

'oh no no, it's okay dad' Lilliane cuts him off,

Lilliane cuts him off 'You seems to be tired did you even sleep at all?' Lilliane added with a worrisome look

Her dad sigh 'yeah I did' He said with a smile trying to reassure her

Lilliane sighs too 'Dad, you're overworking yourself, You have to rest up too!, isn't it your day off?' Lilliane said seemingly with an annoyed tone

'oh don't worry, I'm just finishing up the things I didn't finish' Her dad said as he scratches the back of his head

Lilliane squints her eyes 'daaadddd' As she walks closer to his desk and looked at the Screen, it's all about data and analysis, Lilliane really couldn't understand at all.

Her dad chuckled 'are you going to help me out?' Her dad said as he smirked

Lilliane's eyes looked left and right and shook her head 'nuh-uh' She said as her dad laughs

'Really Lilliane it's fine, I'm almost finish after this I'll just sleep' Her dad said

lilliane sighs and puts her hand to her own arm 'alright but don't over work yourself okay?' Lilliane said with a worried look

her dad nodded and smiled 'okay okay, Now go on I'll continue working'

Lilliane nodded as she was about to walk out her dad went to go to sit

Lilliane stopped and looked at her dad 'by the way dad, Remember the guy that I talked about before?'

Her dad paused for Abit 'what about him?'

'well, I just wanna ask...(she sigh).if..a guy kept asking you out on a date..and kept saying he's flirting with me does that mean he actually like me???' Lilliane asked with a curious look

Her dad seemed to be not responding rather he seemed to be in a bad mood?.

'Lilly my little princess, Are you perhaps talking about the person youve been hanging yesterday? And not the person In the neighborhood?' Her dad asked he seemed to be so serious about it of course Lilliane is to oblivious about it

'mhm' Lilliane said

Her dad looked at Lilliane trying to hold back his bad mood 'i don't know Lilliane, you have to get to know this person better first don't make assumptions' he said

Lilliane faked a smile 'okie well I'll just go and make breakfast' She said as she left the room

That wasn't really going to be her question rather she wanna ask about her assumptions about her boss and Cedric

Fast forward

It's already afternoon Lilliane Took a break from work Diana and Liliane seems to be getting even more distance, Diana tends to ignore Lilliane, She's not acting like a manager at all

When Lilliane is about to go out she bumped to someone, She looked up and there it was Cedric

'whoa there Lilly, watch where you're going' Cedric said with a smile

Lilliane blinked 'oh sorry wait Cedric? What are you doing here?'

'what, I wanna visit you can't I?' Cedric said, the people who tries to go in was getting annoyed making Lilliane grab Cedric's hand and dragged him to the side

Cedric chuckled Abit, Some girls looked at Cedric he was still handsome as ever, His blood red ruby eyes were making him even more handsome than before 'surprise, I actually wanna visit you to see what's going on' Cedric said

'visit??? You could've told me!' Lilliane said as she squints her eyes

'oh I mean it's a surprise y'know, cause definitely you'll say no' Cedric said as he crosses his arm

'*sigh* alright.but well I'm on break I actually need to go somewhere' Lilliane said as she started to walk out

Cedric grabbed her arm 'What, where you are you going?' Cedric said

'oh I need to go to Aliasisco I need to meet the president' Lilliane said

Cedric tilted his head 'huh, can't you just-'

Lilliane raises her eyebrow 'what...Cedric actually I've been wanting to ask you this'

As Lilliane turned towards to Cedric facing him looking at him to the eyes , realizing that people kept looking at them weirdly 'Actually let's talk somewhere else' Lilliane said as she walks towards outside and went to the backside of the shop as Cedric followed her

'haha I just realized you're not that Shy around me anymore?' Cedric asked

Lilliane flinches 'w-well, I'm still shy..but..I'm comfortable now..because we had fun yesterday'

Cedric smiled cheerfully but his eyes seemed to be filled with passion

The two are finally alone, there are still passerby but at least they will not look at them

'so what do you wanna talk about' Cedric said

lilliane sighs and looked at him 'Cedric...I know that this is just a stupid question but..are you perhaps related to the Owner of Aliasisco? Calyx Rainerius?' Lilliane said as she try to be confident and doesn't fidget her fingers

Cedric seemed to look serious and immediately smiled 'what makes you say that?' Cedric said

'well..you two are..kind of similar...your voice...your physique...and...this morning, When you stopped messaging me a minute later He messaged me' Lilliane said looking away

Cedric just listens to her 'really?' he said with a serious tone

Lilliane flinches and felt nervous 'yeah'

Cedric sighs 'Lilly, I think you're just being confused, you barely have contact with guys, You said it yesterday that you only ever talked to a guy before was Him,Me and this guy Akira isn't it not?'

Lilliane looked at him 'yeah but'

Cedric sighs once again as he caresses her cheek 'besides, That Calyx guy has a fiance,and I don't, I'm single I don't have a Ring' he said as he shows his dominant hand to her

Lilliane still looked skeptical 'but the thing is, Calyx hasn't shown his face, that's the confusing thing! Why doesn't he show his face?'

Cedric seemed to be getting annoyed 'Lilly maybe he's just shy? I don't know, but seriously I'm not related to that guy, we may be similar but that's it okay?' he said as he leaned closer to Lilliane almost as if going to kiss her

Lilliane noticed it as she backs away.

Cedric clicks his tongue in secret 'way to ruin my mood in meeting you today'

'sorry Cedric it's just that-' When Lilliane was about to say something her phone rang

She looked at who's calling her and it was Calyx making her eyes widen

Cedric looked at who it was and smirked 'oh look isn't that your boss?, put on loud speaker I wanna hear what this guy sound like' Cedric said

Lilliane answers and turned on the speaker 'hello?' Lilliane said

'oh Lilly, good afternoon, sorry for calling but I decided to just visit you, you're not in the building' Calyx said with a sweet deep gentle voice similar as Cedric

Lilliane became flustered and so embarrassed about her assumptions about Calyx and Cedric 'Oh..well.ill be there right away' Lilliane said with a flushed face

Making Cedric smile and chuckle 'seriously I can really tell how embarrassed Lilliane is, how cute' Cedric thought

'oh no worries Lilly, Diana told me you were at the back so I'm actually almost there' Calyx said as it echoes making it seems like Calyx is actually there

Lilliane looked around and saw Calyx and hangs up the call

Calyx waved towards Lilliane 'Lilly, hey you need something?..oh did I perhaps came in a wrong time?' Calyx said with a soft tone much more softer than the usual

'oh it's fine we're good I'll just give you two space's Cedric said as he pat Lilliane's head and walked, when he was next to calyx he looked at him and whispers something making Lilliane curious on what he had said

'well I'll just be in the cafe alright? Meet me there when you're done' Cedric said and left them

Calyx and Lilliane was alone as Lilliane sigh

'? Huh oh right you wanna talk something?' Calyx said

Lilliane looked at Calyx 'first..I just wanna say sorry' Lilliane said as her face looked quite sad

Calyx was surprised 'wait Lilly what are you saying sorry? Don't be' he replied with a confused yet surprised tone

'its just that, ..be..behind your back I really

.th..please don't get mad at me I'm just really being honest! I don't wanna lie to you!' Lilliane said with a nervous tone as her mouth quiver Abit.

Calyx seemed to be getting worried and awkward around lilliane 'Lilly calm down, I won't get mad at all, don't worry alright? Just tell me what it is' Calyx said trying to comfort her

Lilliane breaths in and out and trying to think what she wanna say 'okay..so like ..the guy from earlier...I thought that..that guy was you and..I kept thinking about how much you two are really similar' Lillaine said

Calyx crosses his arms and nodded 'and? Is that it? I'm not going to get mad about it just because of that' he said With a smile

'no it's not just that! I thought that...since like hmm..like you two are similar that I thought you two are the same person ..that made me think that you were just playing around and..like you are my best friend fiance! And I felt so guilty if..like' Lilliane tried to not be nervous but she can't help it, all of her thoughts are getting jumbled

Calyx didn't say anything and just kept listening to her

'so basically in short, I thought you were cheating with Naya because you kept flirting..' lillaine said

Calyx didn't even react nor flinch instead he just said 'wow I can't believe you just said that' with a monotoned voice

'i'im sorry' Lilliane said with a sad look as she look down trying not to cry because of this stupid misunderstanding she felt really bad for making assumptions

Calyx places his hand to Lilliane's shoulder making her flinch 'just kidding, hey cheer up I'm just kidding okay?' Calyx said with a smile

Lilliane looked at Calyx 'seriously it's fine, it was quite funny how you mistook me with that guy'

Lilliane looked at Calyx he doesn't seemed to be mad rather he was quite pleased?

'well I think I understand why you mistook him with me' Calyx said

Lilliane tilted her head 'oh haha I see'

Calyx nodded 'yeahhh, anyways is that why you called me?' Calyx said with a laugh

Lilliane shook her head 'oh no no, it's actually uhm... remember the day when you saw me at the bench?'

Calyx places his finger to his chin thinking 'oh yeah what about it?'

'oh well, I was actually going to ask you this but I didn't had the chance but have you seen a book?' Lilliane said

'book?' Calyx said 'whats the title?' He added

'oh it's called 'the Obsessive Killer Prince' Lilliane said with an embarrassment look

Calyx shook his head 'nah, I haven't seen any book like that'

Lilliane sighs 'ah..I see....' Lilliane said as her face looked so disappointed

'is that book important to you?' Calyx asked

Lilliane nodded 'and I don't think there's a copy of that book, I've tried looking for it but they said it's unavailable like no more copies at all'

'ahh I see, sorry to hear that' Calyx said

Lilliane smiled 'its fine, oh well we can't really do anything about it' Lilliane said trying to be optimistic

Calyx smiles back 'thats true' Calyx looked at the time and lilliane's break is almost over 'oh right there's also something I wanna tell you'

Lilliane looked at Calyx 'what is it?'

'remember when I said that you work with me so you can pay off your debt?' Calyx said he seems serious

Lilliane flinches thinking of she has done something wrong, was he not satisfied with her performance?, did Diana tell something to him?, Lilliane became anxious and scared

'yes..' Lilliane said

'well if it's alright for you, to continue working with me but you will get paid starting tomorrow's Calyx said with a smile

'okay....' Lilliane said and widened her eyes realizing what he had said

'wait what do you mean?' Lilliane said

'well someone has paid off your debt, and..well if you still wanna continue working here you want it's paid like I said' Calyx said

Lilliane seems to be speechless 'who paid for it's Lilliane thought she kept thinking who would do that, she never told anyone about the debt at all,

'oh I see..I see...may I ask who paid off my debt? I would like to thank them and ask something from them!' Lilliane said as she still looked shock and can't even imagine how they paid off her debt

Calyx shakes his head 'sorry Lilliane but I would tell you but they ask me to make it private so it's confidential'

Lilliane sighs and nodded 'i see..I understand, then can you tell them that j said thank you and if theres anything I can do to repay them just let me know!' Lilliane said to calyx making him nod and smiles

Calyx suddenly got a phone call 'very well, seems like Akira's looking for me since I did kinda been out long, oh before I go let me know if you're still going to continue working, alright?' Calyx said with a smile

'oh of course I would still continue working here!' Lilliane said with a smile

Calyx nodded 'well good, cause you're one of the best staff I got, Anyways I better get going, By the way you can leave early seems like it won't be busy today, also your boyfriend seems to be waiting for you' Calyx said as he chuckled

Lilliane's face became flushed red 'hes not my boyfriend!, seriously'

Lilliane's friend kept teasing her about having a boyfriend over the past days, Making them bicker and laugh over it

'okay whatever you say anyways see ya' Calyx said as he leaves with a smile

Lilliane still seems to be flustered 'seriously they keep teasing me with this nonsense....I should tell Dad about the good news when I get home for now I need to go to Cedric' She said as she rushed towards the store

As Lilliane entered and went to the cafe Sofia went to Lilliane 'lilly!, your hot boyfriend is upstairs seriously why didn't you tell me you have a boyfriend that hot?' Sofia said with a smirk

Lilliane frowns and blushed 'hes not my boyfriend!, damn it wait also Sofia Calyx told me that I can take a leave early tell that to Diana'

Sofia shrugs 'Oh Diana isn't here, she already left when you and that guy went at the back'

Lilliane sigh 'i see you'll be alright? I can still help out'

Sofia chuckled 'oh no it's fine I can handle it go up he's been waiting for you'

Lilliane nodded and went up she looked around and saw Cedric, he seemed to be talking with the people and smiling.
