as soon as Lilliane saw Cedric her face scrunches up, she didn't hesitate to show of her emotion.

'wow...I didn't know this little kitten be so ferocious' Cedric said as he releases Lilliane's hand

Lilliane felt bad for slapping him but at the same time, he deserved it 'i-im sorry..you suddenly grabbed me and I thought i-' Lilliane felt anxious

Cedric chuckled and lift up his hand making Lilliane flinch

'haha it's okay really, I deserved it I should've called you out first before grabbing you' Cedric said as he placed his hand to his own cheek 'but I'll tell you that was one of a hell slap' Cedric added as he smiles

His cheek turned pink because of his pale skin, it's left a mark. lilliane averted her eyes and breaths in and out, she really felt bad and it's unusual for her to actually hit someone that hard 'im really sorry...is there anything I can do?.and please no asking kissing and all of a sort...I feel.. uncomfortable'

Cedric's eyes lit up and burst out laughing making people around them looked at him 'fuck you're so blunt, I like that, alright....then...'. this is the moment that Lilliane might've regretted for saying that to Him

'have a date with me tomorrow' Cedric said

Lilliane was dumfounded confused 'okay but...sorry..I can't do it tomorrow I have work' she still averts her eyes and grabs her own arm

Cedric stares at her and smiles 'oh that's to bad, I really wanna go on a date'. He respond as he secretly clicks his tongue

Lilliane thought for a moment 'by the way..I'm sorry for asking but...what's your name?...I've been meaning to ask you this...since I don't.. remember' Cedric cut her off 'Cedric, I did tell you that..but I guess you were to drunk to remember that'

Lilliane scratches the back of her head 'sorry, ..it must've made you uncomfortable for me doing that and..oh..before I forget...I'm really sorry about the video too..I don't know who' when suddenly Cedric places his hand to Lilliane's shoulder

'whoa there slow down, I didn't expect you to be talkative hahaha, I'm just here to ask you on a date not for you to apologize and talk about the past' Cedric said looking serious

Lilliane looked at Cedric in the eyes 'but'

Cedric shakes his head 'lilliane, I don't give a shit about it, haha and you're going off topic so back to it you aren't able to make it tomorrow then?'

Lilliane sighs and nodded 'sorry'

Cedric paused for a moment and smirked 'then I'll give you my phone number, when you're not working call me, the city is small so it's not hard for me to find you'

Lilliane thought about his words and she didn't think much about it and gave him her phone 'its better for you to type it then'

Cedric seems to be pleased by Lilliane making him fall for her even more, he pretended to type and checked on her contacts

'dad♥️♥️, Naya🥳♥️, Diana, Aliasisco,Calyx' Cedric smiled 'so no rivals to eliminate huh, that's great, easy for me to make her mine' he thought As he added his number and calling him 'Cedric 😍' he chuckled

Lilliane was just waiting wondering what's taking him so long, Lilliane grabbed his arm 'Sorry but I just realized that we're in the middle of the street' Cedric was surprised when Lilliane grabbed him like that and dragged him to the side he couldn't stop looking at her and smiling

Cedric gave back Lilliane's phone 'here you go' Lilliane looked at her phone and saw his name, she shrugged and place her phone to her pocket

They just stood there with an awkward silent 'well just make sure to call me for that date alright?' Cedric said

'okay..but..what if you're busy?' Lilliane asked

'oh I'm always free, especially when it's night' Cedric responded

'okay.then..i shall go now..bye' Lilliane said and walked away making Cedric watch her leave as he covers his mouth 'fuck me.. she's so oblivious and naive' Cedric slit back his hair as he rings someone

Moments later, Lilliane went home and told her Dad how her day was

On the next day, everything was normal nothing really happened Lilliane works, Her dad works,Calyx doing paperworks,Akira helping him out, Naya from time to time she visits Lilliane until a month had passed.

at a hotel in the afternoon

Cedric kept on looking on his phone waiting for Lilliane's phone call

A woman behind him said 'Cedric,you've been looking at your phone since we hooked up'

Cedric looked at the woman and pushed her off, the woman was startled making her confused 'what was that for?'

Cedric looked at the woman 'none of your business' as he smiles

The woman rolls her eyes 'i was just curious what the fuck, you didn't have to push me like that can't you be gentle'

Cedric scoffs 'since when have I been gentle towards everyone?' He said as he kept looking at his phone, feeling irrated

'Sheesh, chill out..but seriously, don't tell me someone rejected you?' the girl said with a grin

Cedric flinches and looked pissed off as he slick his hair back, He lit up some cigar 'No, I haven't just that my fucking dumbass she's, thinking about it makes me wanna fuck myself' Cedric said with an irritated tone and inhales his smoke

The woman laughed and wears some clothes 'well that's your problem, I just don't know why you kept on clinging on whoever you're waiting for'

Cedric looked at the woman 'what do you mean?' he asked

'well I mean, like you're popular and all, you looked like you came from a fairytale, and especially of that eyes of yours, you have plenty of woman that wants you, I mean I would totally date you but I have a boyfriend' The woman replied

Cedric chuckled 'well thanks for the compliment but, I'm not interested in any of you, I don't like commiting'

The woman scoffs 'wow, you're such an asshole,you should be grateful that I'm not gonna throw tantrums about that'

Cedric suddenly got up and wears his shirt 'haha yeah right, anyways I'll be leaving I got some things to do' When Cedric was about to leave He called someone

A few moments later, Where Lilliane is She got a call, of course she ignored it since she was working when suddenly

Someone went in the store and it was Akira, he seemed to be looking around and talked to Diana

'hey Diana, where's Lilliane?' Akira asked

Diana seemed to be quite confused on the sudden visit 'oh Lilliane's at the back if I knew you were coming I cou-'

'oh nah, don't worry about that, It was also a sudden call from him anyways' Akira sighs he seemed to be annoyed at the same time he looked tired

Diana looked at Akira and chuckled 'what? Don't tell me our boss being a jerk to you?'

Akira shakes his head 'no not really just that..some reasons' Akira looked drained seems like he overworked himself, Diana didn't ask no more and just lead him to where Liliane was

Lilliane seems to be just waiting on what to do, she already finished everything she already cleaned up

'hey Lilly, Akira wants to speak with you' Diana said making Lilliane look where Diana was

Lilliane stood up and walked towards the door and saw Akira, Diana stepped out to give them some space

'Hey Lily, how's work going?' Akira asked as he crosses his arm

'oh , it's been great, actually I just finished everything they asked me to do' Lilliane said with a smile, she now got comfortable around Akira, He seemed to act like a big sibling to Lilliane even if Akira's position is higher than her

'haha what, you bored?, come on tell me, and be honest' Akira said with a teasing smile

lilliane smiles brightly 'well...maybe?..Abit.. just abit'

Akira laughs 'of course, it's not busy today since it's the weekday especially since it's not the holidays'

Lilliane nodded in agreement 'thats true..it's usually busy but..it gotten quiter'.

'yeah,..oh right I actually wanna tell you that you can take a day off tomorrow, Calyx asked me to give you an off since youve been working so hard' Akira said

Lilliane's eyes widened 'oh okay, just tomorrow?' Lilliane asked

Akira seems to be stoned on her question, 'i actually don't know...I have to ask'

Lilliane looked at Akira and scratches her head 'well..it's okay, I can do whatever, but..it's better for you to message me rather than coming here personally' Lilliane said

Akira laughs 'yeah I would've done that, but I'd rather just walk here cause y'know...I'm fucked if I stay In there, to much stress and pressure's

Lilliane looked at Akira and pats his shoulder 'hang in there' giving him the encouragement look with a bit of a tease

Akira laughs 'yeah no, I can't, it's.to much for me, can't we switch Lily'

Lilliane eyes widened 'huh!?, no!' Lilliane panicked Abit

Akira laughs even more 'lily, seriously it was a joke you're so gullible it's making me and the others wants to tease you'

Lilliane sighs 'aki!, seriously you and Naya are the same' Lilliane looked down and just sighs once again

Akira pats Lilliane's shoulder 'hey cheer up, anyways I should go now, that's the only reason why I actually came here'

Lilliane looked at Akira 'huh? You sure? You don't wanna have a drink or something?'

Akira shakes his head 'no it's fine, I can just grab it when I walk back, it's not that far anyways'

Lilliane nods 'well if you say so'

'well I gotta go, then Ced- calyx might kill me' Akira said he got nervous all of a sudden

Lilliane heard it but she doesn't say anything anymore, she's afraid she might say something unnecessary 'alright' Lilliane just responded and nodded

Akira and Lilliane part ways and Akira seemed to talk with Diana and the other staff for Abit and left

Lilliane seemed to be in deep thoughts on what Akira said 'He definitely almost said Cedric' Lilliane gotten her suspicioun before but Naya told her that it was coincidence, but now it seemed like Lilliane is getting suspicious again

'I know little about Cedric but Calyx is the best boss I've ever got...but..if Cedric and calyx is the same person.why did he...wait if they are then doesn't he have fian..wait ..AUGH I don't know!' Lilliane seemed to be talking to her making Diana looked at her concerned and scared for life

Diana knocked on the door 'lilly, if it's alright for you,you can go home, it's not busy at the moment'

Lilliane snapped out of it and looked at where Diana is 'oh are you sure?'

Diana nodded 'yeah, you can go home'

Lilliane thought for Abit 'alright then' , Lilliane went to grab her stuff and walked out 'well see you guys' The other staff looked at Lilliane 'see ya Lilliane have a good one' 'see you' 'Cya', Lilliane left the store and called her dad

She told him about having a day off and how things were doing and finally she messaged Cedric 'hello Cedric, good afternoon, sorry for not messaging you I got really busy are you free tomorrow?' Lilliane paused for a moment and gotten nervous.. she hesitate to hit send 'i don't know..should I really'..she said to herself... She looked around and walked towards a park and sat down on a bench. She looked at her phone one more time and just hit sent. She immediately turned off her phone and mute it. She felt so nervous that she feels like she's going to puke... She grabbed a book out of her bag and it was the story book from her childhood

'Ill just wait for a few moments here' She said to herself as she opened her book and read it. The book was a bit torn and the title seemed to be faded. She grabbed her phone and played some music as she plugged her earphones.

It didn't take long until Cedric replied, of course Lilliane didn't noticed it as she was reading her book. She saw the image of the boy once again, a portrait of the boy with his family before he ran away.. 'seriously...it's so uncanny how much that my favourite character looked exactly like him'.. *she kept reading the book until she went to the ending where it felt like it was cut until someone was in front of her. She hasn't noticed it yet.

'wow...ignoring me like this' A familiar voice said. He grabbed the book making Lilliane look it was Calyx

Lilliane smiled and removed her earphones and stood up 'oh Calyx, I didn't see you there' Lilliane said, Lilliane and Calyx gotten close thanks to Akira and his employees. Lilliane may still be awkward around him since Calyx is 7 years older than her.

Lilliane smelled smoke on Calyx making Calyx notice on her reaction 'whats wrong?' Calyx asked as he gave back Lilliane's book and sat besides her

Lilliane shook her head 'oh it's nothing, what are you doing here Calyx?' Lilliane respond

Calyx leaned over the bench and seemed to be relaxing 'oh it's nothing, I was just driving and saw you, might as well say hi'

'ah I see' Lilliane said

Calyx seemed to be curious about what she was reading

'i was just reading my favourite book from childhood while waiting' Lilliane said

Calyx leaned closer towards Lilliane making Lilliane back off Abit 'what is it?' she said

'oh just that...nothing did Akira told you about your day off?' Calyx asked

Lilliane nodded Calyx smiled as he placed his hand on Lilliane's shoulder 'well that's good, you really need to take a break from time to time, just take your time y'know, I don't want my employees to over work themseleves'

Lilliane just nodded and listens she's been wondering why of all times but she just didn't ask

Lilliane looked at her phone and saw the text message from Cedric from 20 minutes ago Calyx saw a glimpse of it.

Lilliane didn't mind that Calyx was there and checked the message 'Hey!, I thought you forgot about me it was tempting for me to go look for you, well I'm free tomorrow 9am at the Park meet me there' Lilliane sent a thumbs up to him and just sighs

Calyx saw it and just smiled 'seems like you're going to be busy tomorrow'

Lilliane flinches and flustered 'oh it's nothing I was just..' Lilliane stood up and smiles awkwardly to calyx 'uhm, it's getting late my dad's gonna worry so..uhm I'll see you around' *Lilliane walked away as she forgot about the book

Calyx chuckled and unties his necktie 'so cute, seriously', he grabbed his other phone and looked smiling as he removes the bandage around his eyes 'cant wait to see you :)'. He looked closer to the book and looked serious 'cant believe this little book still exist in this world' Calyx said

Akira finally shown himself, he was hiding in the bush 'seriously Cedric, how far are you going to do this bullshit, don't you feel bad about Naya at all better yet Lilly?' Akira said with a slight annoyance tone

Cedric laughed 'hey, it's none of your business, besides Naya doesn't even know about it and it's quite fun seeing Lilliane quiver sometimes makes me wanna tease her even more y'know'

Akira sighs in disbelief 'wow just wow, you said you fell in love at first sight yet you're here disguising yourself being a good boy and when it's night' you're just a bastard'

Cedric laughs 'hey first part is true, second is well I need some relief alright?'

Akira looked like he's so done with his life 'anyways you look ridiculous can't you remove that fake bald cap'

Cedric shrugged and removed it 'well I'm just excited for my date tomorrow, wonder what she'll wear nevertheless she's going to be cute either way' Cedric said with a smirk as he throws away the book

Akira noticed it and was confused 'hey what did you throw away?'

Cedric looked at Akira 'oh some old book that shouldn't exist anymore since the antagonist doesn't exist in the story'

Akira looked confused 'what?'

Cedric slaps Akira's back 'Dont worry about it Man'

Akira coughs and just went along with it.

Later that night

Lilliane couldn't sleep and trying to find her book 'maybe Calyx have it..I'll just have to ask him when I see him' Lilliane said as she lay down and tried to sleep

On the next day Lilliane looked hagard for being so nervous she looked like she haven't slept for days
