CHAPTER 22

On a friday morning, Kelly was woken up by the sound of her ringing tone, it was from joseph. "why is he calling so early," she asked still feeling sleepy , then she answered the phone and heard joseph's deep sexy voice and she was fully awake.

"Good morning, sorry if I woke you up. I thought you would have been awake by now since it is a school day, hope you don't mind?" He actually called because he wanted to hear her voice, he knew they were going to meet in school but he couldn't wait.

while kelly was really angry he called her. "I do mind, I mean who calls someone so early in the morning, whatever you want to tell can wait till we meet at school, so why call so early?" she said angrily.

"I already apologized, why are you so angry? are you on your period?" he said to her but she ignored that and asked. "why did you call?" when he heard her question, he smiled when he realized that she was no longer angry.

"You are going to be my date tomorrow evening for a party. So we are going shopping tomorrow morning," he said to her.

kelly was shocked. "I never attend those gatherings, so why do I have to go this time, I mean, can't you avoid going to this one?" she said panicking.

"I wish we could avoid it, I actually hate parties as well, but we can't because it's my best friend's birthday party, so I can't" He said to her.

He actually wished he could avoid this for her, but tyler was his best friend so he couldn't, he wouldn't want to make his only friend disappointed.

Kelly thought about it for a while and then she finally agreed. "ok, but we can't stay too long," she said. "I can't be sure that lydia won't cause trouble for me, but don't worry I'm sure I can handle anything they throw my way." she added.

Joseph was surprised when he heard what she said. He was actually worried that lydia would do. something bad to kelly, but now she just assured him. It was like she read his mind. His smile widened.

"I don't have to worry, my woman is really strong." He thought.

I'll see you at school and then we can continue this discussion, so please hang up." Kelly pleaded.

Joseph chuckled when he heard what she said. "so cute." he thought. " ok I'm hanging up now," he replied and hung up.

Kelly sighed when he hung up and tried to go back to bed, but she couldn't sleep anymore, so she climbed down the bed and went to prepare for school.

At school...

Kelly got to class really early that day, and she noticed peter was the only one in class, so she decided to talk to him. "Hey," she got no reply.

" You know, I decided to not make friends at school so that I could fufill the promise I made to my mother," when she noticed he was listening to her, she continued.

"I expected people to consider me weird, so I pretended to act wierd so they would avoid me, but you were the only one who took an initiative to talk to me,at first, I was going to ignore so you would get tired, but i actually started liking your company, and now that you are angry at me, I really don't know what I did wrong, but if I did something wrong I'm really sorry, so please can you tell me." she pleaded.

Peter didn't think he could feign anger when she was this cute. He actually forgave her long ago, but he wanted to see if she really considered him a friend and it seems like she does.

"If we were really friends, I wouldn't have to know that you were dating that fly from a rumor in school, we are friends but we don't have each other's phone number, unless there is another definition of friends I don't know, I don't think we are considered friends." he said.

" if that is all it takes for you to forgive me then I promise I won't keep anything from you again and you can have my contact information. So am I forgiven?" she asked smiling sheepishly.

"not yet, give me a hug and then you are forgiven," he said with pouted lips which made kelly chuckle. then she gave in to him.
