CHAPTER 13: The invitation(ii)

Kelly spent the next few days after her night with Joseph trying to sort out her feelings. She had enjoyed his company, but she wasn't sure if she was ready for anything more than friendship. Plus, there was the issue of her father's invitation to Joseph to come over to their house.

As the days went by, Kelly found herself hesitating to tell Joseph about the situation with her dad She was afraid of sending the wrong signals. She knew that Joseph was smart and intuitive, and she didn't want him to hate her or complicate things further.

Finally, on the day after their night together, Kelly found herself facing a dilemma at school. Joseph was in one of her classes, and she couldn't help but feel nervous every time she saw him. She knew that she had to make a decision about what she wanted, but she wasn't sure how to approach the situation.

During a break between classes, Kelly found herself alone with Joseph. He looked at her expectantly, and Kelly felt her heart race. She took a deep breath and decided to be honest with him.

"Joseph, I had a really good time with you the other night," she said. "But something bad happened that night and I kind of lied to my dad that I was with my boyfriend, and he said I should invite him over."

Joseph looked at her thoughtfully, and Kelly could tell that he was taking her words seriously. "so your saying I have to go home with you and pretend to be your boyfriend? he asked and Kelly nodded."I understand," he said.

Kelly felt a sense of relief wash over her, but she also couldn't help but feel a twinge of regret. She had enjoyed spending time with Joseph, and she didn't want to lose that connection. she didn't like the fact that she has to use him this way without considering his feelings.

As the day went on, Kelly found herself feeling more and more conflicted. She kept thinking about what would happen that day and how they would be able to convince her father that they were dating. She realized that she needed time to figure out what they how to convince her father, and she blushed really hard thinking about it.

As the final bell rang, Kelly headed out of the school, deep in thought. She didn't know what the future held for her and Joseph, but she knew they were going to be able to convince her father. But she couldn't help but think that her step sister might ruin everything.

As she walked, she didn't notice that Joseph was standing in front of her, then she got to where he was standing she bumped her head into his chest. he noticed she was absent minded and she still hasn't noticed him so he flicked her forehead. Kelly glared at him. "what was that for?" Joseph ignored what she had just said and assured her. " you don't need to worry, I'm sure everything will be fine trust me." he said while patting her head. And kelly felt relieved.

Meanwhile, maria was trying to think of how to ruin Kelly's image in front of Joseph without making herself look bad.
