Love: The Hazardous Emotion

It was Micha's first suspicion that the rumors her college friends were telling about her lover might actually be true. Even though she was doubtful at first, endless questions began to creep into her thoughts. However, nothing could have prepared her for what happened when she witnessed it firsthand: So Hyung, her boyfriend, hugging and kissing Hea. Her heart was broken into a million pieces by the sight. She felt as though she had lost her sight from despair and had become mute as the world around her appeared to collapse. She got back home and made her way into her bedroom feeling confused. Tears were falling down her face, uncontrollably, and she fell onto her bed. She was in excruciating pain in her heart, and every cry she let out made her body hurt even more. Micha struggled to accept the truth of what she had seen and felt completely destroyed by the betrayal. All she could do was lie there, tears mixing with the murmurs of her dashed hopes, her once-bright world now black and chilly. She think ,"How can I ever forget him when I once considered him my love and felt he was my entire world? The memories of us together are etched so deeply in my heart. Can I truly live in this world without him? The thought of moving on feels impossible, and the emptiness he left behind seems unbearable. Will I ever find the strength to heal and the courage to face each new day without him by my side?................"

Telling my thought to him

She suddenly thought that So Hyung may be there to console her, to clarify everything, and to ease her suffering. She soon noticed, though, that it was simply a delivery vehicle going about, pausing to drop off packages at a neighbor's house. She felt a wave of disappointment pass over her and saw additional tears fill up in her eyes.

Micha turned away from the balcony and lay against the wall, her back to the cool surface as she tried to control her breathing. She tried to slow her beating heart by closing her eyes and taking several deep breaths. She knew she couldn't let the pain in her chest ruin her entire day, yet it still lingered.

She went back to the dining room, took a seat, and began to chew at what was left of her breakfast. Her family seemed oblivious to the emotional tempest brewing inside her as they carried on with their discussions. Even with her loved ones around, she had a twinge of loneliness. But she understood that in order to preserve some sort of normalcy, she had to keep going.

Micha silently promised herself that very moment. She would look for a means to get over the betrayal, to move on, and to find happiness again. She owed it to herself to try, even if it wouldn't be simple and there would be many obstacles in her way.

She held to a tiny spark of hope and determination as she completed her breakfast and got ready for the day. Perhaps, just perhaps, the future might bring fresh starts and the opportunity to heal her wounded heart.

Micha sat silently, deep in contemplation. She wondered, "By the way, why am I so sad?" "I haven't even made an attempt to address this issue or put an end to the rumors. Asking So Hyung if they're true or not, however, doesn't feel safe. How should I proceed?" Her heart was heaving with uncertainty as her mind swirled with contradicting feelings and unsolved problems.

Her father's voice interrupted her daydream as she considered her next move. "Micha, you should enroll in college. If you don't leave right away, you'll be late." Despite the chaos within her, his remarks served as a gentle reminder of her responsibilities and an encouragement to proceed.

Micha inhaled deeply, attempting to get rid of the remaining melancholy. She was aware that she couldn't always allow her feelings control what she did. College was one of the practical issues that needed to be resolved. She got up from the table, moving slowly and deliberately, as though every step would take a great deal of work.

"Goodbye, everyone," she stated, flashing a tight little smile at her relatives. They didn't know the storm was building inside of her, so they said her farewell with kind, supportive grins. Her grandfather nodded wisely, understanding in his eyes, her sibling waved joyously, and her mother patted her on the back.

With her car serving as a little source of comfort in the midst of her mental turmoil, Micha made her way outside. With the genuine leather feeling cool against her skin, she got into the driver's seat and took a moment to gather herself. Although she was afraid of the drive to college, she knew it was an essential element of her routine and the much-needed return to normalcy.

Thoughts of So Hyung and the stories that had broken her calm persisted in her head as she turned on the engine and pulled out of the driveway. The road opened up in front of her, a ribbon of opportunity and danger. The city was softly illuminated by the early sun, but the warmth of it did nothing to relieve the inward chill she was experiencing.

Micha's mind strayed to the times she had spent with So Hyung. In the stillness of the night, there were whispered vows, sweet glances, and laughing. Everything appeared so far away at this point, like a lovely dream turned bad dream. She questioned whether their relationship might still be saved or if their trust had been destroyed forever.

When Micha pulled into the campus parking lot, she inhaled deeply. Students were rushing to their classrooms, conversing with friends, and going about their daily lives as the campus came alive with activity. She briefly felt envious of their seeming ease and the fact that they were not going through the same kind of heartbreak as she was.

Micha decided to address the matter directly as she made her way to her first class. Even if it meant risking further suffering and facing her fears, she had to know the truth. She could not afford to continue living in uncertainty, and ignoring the issue would only make her misery worse. She needed answers to start the healing process since the confusion was breaking her.

The day unfolded before her, with every minute posing a challenge to her determination. Micha, though, was resolved to handle it bravely and elegantly. She would go look for So Hyung, pose the tough questions, and face the truth about their circumstances. She understood she had to do this for her own mental health, even if it meant a difficult farewell or reconciliation.

Micha felt her purpose come back as she walked into the classroom and took her seat. There might be challenges ahead, but she was prepared to meet them head-on. She had the love and support of her family, as well as a renewed will to forge her own route through the pain. She took a deep breath, opened her notebook, and got ready for the lecture, eager to face the challenges of the day ahead.

Micha gathered up the guts to call So Hyung after class. Her head was buzzing with all the things she needed to say, and her heart was thumping as she dialed his number.

She took a big breath and started talking, her voice quivering a little when he answered. "Well, Hyung, I must speak with you regarding an essential matter.

I've been reflecting a lot, and I can no longer suppress these emotions. Just tell it if you don't love me. I'll accept it, but don't try to break my heart. It hurts too much to handle. Please be honest with me if you have affections for another female. I could possibly be of use to you."

"Are you fed up with me?" So Hyung said after a brief silence from the person on the other end of the call.

Micha said, "No," immediately, her voice serious and forceful. "I just want to know our current situation. I must have the whole truth.

After a brief period of silence, Hyung answered quietly, "No, I'm not seeing anyone else. Micha, I'm interested in you.

He appeared in front of her without warning, his presence comforting and powerful. His intense stare softened her resolve as he met her eyes. He pulled her in close before she could say anything, planting a gentle kiss on her lips. It was a silent apology, a vow of sincerity, and a kiss full of unsaid feelings.

Micha glanced up at him as they parted, her heart racing. Her doubts had been somewhat calmed by the kiss, which had spoken volumes. A glimmer of faith flickered through her, suggesting that maybe they might resolve their differences harmoniously.

Their narrative was far from ended, Micha understood as the warmth of his kiss remained on her lips in that moment. She was prepared to face the difficult and emotionally charged trip ahead of them together. She felt reborn and determined as she clasped his hand. They would work through the uncertainty together, paving the way for a more solid, sincere partnership.

And while they stood there, Micha realized that she was ready to face whatever lay ahead, clinging to the hope that had been sparked in her heart and the love they shared.

When their talk was over, Micha and So Hyung gave each other a lengthy, consoling hug. Everything they were unable to express verbally seemed to be communicated by the embrace: relief, understanding, and a shared resolve to go ahead as a team. They grinned slightly and silently assured each other that they were prepared for whatever happened next as they hesitantly moved apart.

As they made their way to their vehicles together, they gently brushed hands, seemingly to confirm that their bond was still alive. For Micha, the drive home was a blur of feelings and ideas. She went over their talk again in her head, the sweetness of his unexpected kiss, the sincerity in So Hyung's eyes. Every recollection offered a calmness that had been lacking for a very long time.

Micha parked when they got to her house and got out to see So Hyung waiting for her. Another hug, longer than the first, full of promises not yet made, was given between them. "Goodbye, Micha, I love you," So Hyung said in a sweet, endearing murmur.

Micha answered, "Bye, love you too, dear," her heart swelled with hope and love at the same time. With regret, they said goodbye and went their own ways, but the tie between them became stronger.
